For me, being a dentist is more than fixing teeth or changing smiles. Every patient, every visit, every conversation is a chance to touch a persons life, to help peoplefeel better about themselves, and to improve their oral and overall health.
I know that very few people actually enjoy receiving dental treatment. Although we may not be patients favorite folks, dentists provide a valuable and undeniably necessary service. I have found that a genuine and friendly smile, a positive attitude, and excellent communication both listening to the patient and my team and metalking to them are key to patient confidence and engagement.
Prior to attending dental school, I was a psychology student who initially intended to observe the dental field. I endedup becoming a dental assistant and long-term employee. I was lucky becauseI had the privilege of learning from highly experienced and skilled doctors and dental professionals.

I have volunteered and organized overseas dental mission trips, which involved travelto Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and to an orphanage in Cambodia. In addition, I volunteered with the San Francisco Native American Health Center, andperformedrecall exams, cleanings, and placing sealants.

Michelle excitedly joined our team January of 2020. She comes from a decade of dental experience! She originally started out in the Front Office and worked her way to the back becoming an assistant and eventually a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Hospitality, an Associates degree in Dental Hygiene, and has been practicing ever since. Michelle is passionate about her husband, two cats, and of course teeth! She truly loves what she does and it shows in her work. Her patients compliment how thorough, educational, and gentle she is! Michelle considers herself a lifetime learner is always continuing her education in Dentistry. She is a big Atlanta United fan, addicted to Chickflia, enjoys swimming, and loves spending time with her family.

I love Alexander Family Dentistry. Dr. Alexander's team is so welcoming and professional. I always get excellent treatment and learn useful preventive, dental health information. The doctor clearly explains all treatment options. I recently had an emerging dental issue. They were very understanding and made room for me in their schedule to resolve my problem. I always look forward to my routine care appointments. I'm particularly impressed at the continuing advancements in dentistry.

I have been a patient in Dr. Alexander's office since she opened her practice in West Village. Dr. Alexander and her staff have always provided a superior service and environment where they treat me like family. Just recently, I decided and had completed a 10 over 10 veneer service which has transformed my smile. I always smiled before, but now I smile even more. Dr. Alexander and her staff were extremely knowledgable, friendly and accommodating! From the moment I stepped in the door I felt a warm atmosphere from all team members and by the time I left I felt more educated on my health. Most of my past experience with Dentist offices involved being told what to do with no explanation for why. Dr. Alexander took the time with me to explore multiple options, explain the process for each of them and explain which one would help me reach my personal goals best. I would highly recommend her to everyone and I am very excited to come back!

This was my first time at this dentistry and it exceeded my expectations! The staff is so kind and welcoming and makes you feel at ease. I came for a dental cleaning and gained so much knowledge from my visit. My dental hygienist was so informative and answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. She even used analogies to better explain what was going on with my teeth. I got a digital image of my all my teeth and Dr. Alexander explained throughly how we can improve my teeth and made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. She and I discussed treatment plans for my teeth and made me feel very comfortable. She wasn't in a rush like most dentists, she gave me her undivided attention with my questions. I have never been to as dentist that cares so much for their patients and I came out of the visit more wise. 10/10 would recommend!!

Dr. Hannah Alexander and her hygienists and staff are the absolute best. They go WAY above and beyond in a way that is so far gone in this world. I've had a lot of dentists in my life because I've moved a lot and none have come close to the care and attention and consideration of Dr. Alexander. She can consider me a patient for life and I will recommend everyone I know see her too. Her office is beautiful and although not every aspect of visiting the dentist is always comfortable, Michelle and anyone else you'll see there will do everything in their power to make sure you are not scared, in pain or otherwise feeling uneasy. They are fast and thorough! I can't say enough good things.
