Dr. Alexander Brao moved to Naples in 1986 when he was just a year old. He attended Poinciana Elementary, Pine Ridge Middle, and Barron Collier High schools. He moved to Gainesville, Florida to attend the University of Florida for his bachelors degree and moved across the country to pursue his dental education at the University of California, San Francisco.
Throughout dental school, Dr. Brao was elected into several leadership roles on campus, in the community, and nationally. He is proud to have been selected by his colleagues as the Class Sweetheart. Dr. Brao received several honors for exceptional clinical skills and was recognized as the L.D. Pankey Institute Student Scholar. After graduation, he trained and became certified in placing and restoring dental implants. He has subsequently earned his fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Brao continues to pursue quality continuing education courses to stay abreast of the most recent technology and advances in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. His practice provides general dentistry with an emphasis on preventive care, as well as implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He has practiced in Northern California and The Villages, Florida, and is excited to return home to Naples to serve this wonderful community. Dr. Brao is supported by a highly trained and caring staff that provides an unmatched level of service.
Kurston is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, and has spent most of her life in Naples, Florida. She pursued her undergraduate studies both in Chicago and Southwest Florida. After obtaining her certification in dental assisting, she focused her studies on management. Kurston has been with the team for almost a decade and is passionate about serving the needs of each of our patients. Kurston has a keen understanding of the pulse of our practice and has an unmatched ability to satisfy our patients. She maintains the staff morale effortlessly and we are so lucky to have her on our team.
In addition other responsibilities at the office, she also gracefully juggles her role as a wife and mother. When Kurston is relaxing, you will typically find her with her husband, Jayson, and their daughter, Saylor. As a family, they like being outdoors, rollerblading or swimming. They also enjoy spending time with their parents and in-laws, who both live locally. Jayson and Kurston have had English Bulldogs as part of their family and recently adopted a French Bulldog named Millie to join their squad.
Carolina is originally from Rahway, NJ, and joined our dental team in 2020. She attended UMDNJ/Rutgers for her associate's degree and is passionate about supporting our patients oral health and wellness.
She loves that she can make a positive impact on her patients oral and overall health. Many underlying diseases are linked to the oral cavity; therefore, knowing that she can help makes her job so worthwhile and rewarding.
Carolina particularly enjoys the interactions she has with her patients and can also be an educator and mentor for healthy smiles. She loves the science and medical aspect of dental hygiene because there is always something new to learn. Carolina is a lifelong learner and always strives to improve in every aspect of life.
When she is away from the dental office, you will find Carolina spending time with her family, reading, oil and watercolor painting, cooking, eating, and exploring new flavors. She also loves all types of music!
Becky' grew up in Warren, Ohio, and loves what Southwest Florida offers her. She has practiced as a certified expanded functions dental assistant before transitioning to her role at the front desk at our office. Becky particularly likes coming to work every day and feeling a sense of belonging with our team, who makes her feel right at home. She enjoys getting to know the generations of patients at our office and developing relationships with them. If you have had the pleasure of working with her, you know that she is an asset to our patients and we feel fortunate that she chose to apply her knowledge and skills to our practice.
During her personal time, you will find Becky reading, watching sports (Go Buckeyes!), watching movies, and binge-watching TV shows and series. Most of all, Becky loves spending time with her precious family.
Susan is spunky and the mom of the office. She has an incredible attitude and keeps us all young because of how much she makes us laugh.When shes out having fun, you will find Susan camping, fishing, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Dr. Brao treated my mother, we were so happy with the perfect fit of her appliance as well as the wonderful and thorough service. He now treats my older sister as well as myself. Experience really does make a difference.
