Dr. Alexander, a Carrollton native, graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, where she also completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency. Dr. Alexander is an avid learner and is among one of only 6% of general dentists in the entire nation to have earned her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. In 2018, she was nominated for Texas New Dentist of the Year.
Dr. Alexander is passionate about helping patients improve their smile and confidence through providing advanced dentistry. She enjoys cosmetic dentistry, complex restorative treatment, implant surgery, and wisdom teeth extractions. She understands the life-changing impact dentistry can have, and she is ready to listen to and care for you and your dental needs.
Dr. Alexander is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. Dr. Alexander's passion to help patients achieve their goals is what drives her to stay up-to-date in dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Alexander enjoys spending time with her family and friends, taking her dog, Leo, to dog parks, strength training, playing piano, and trying new restaurants in DFW. (Ask her for sushi recommendations!)
Dr. Song was born and raised in Irving, TX. She is a proudcum laudegraduate of the University of Texas at Austin, receiving two degrees in Biology, B.A. and Hispanic Studies, B.A. She moved back to Dallas to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry.
While at Baylor, she traveled to Guatemala and Jamaica to provide dentistry to underserved communities. Her compassion and dedication to quality dentistry motivates her daily practice. She understands that the dental chair can be a scary place for some but patients can be reassured that her calm, warm approach eases any anxiety that may arise. Prior to Alexander and Song Dentistry, Dr. Song worked in private practice settings that refined her skills in conservative, evidence-based dentistry while also providing a focused and personalized approach with each patient.
As a general dentist, she provides a wide array of services but her passion lies in giving back patients their confidence and smile. Dr. Songs commitment to excellence in dentistry extends beyond her daily practice. She regularly attends continuing education courses in dentistry and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.
Every day we remove the white coat wall and create a space where open dialogue is embraced. Our patients leave our office feeling accepted, understood, and empowered. This excites us because we believe that when patients choose dental health, they are choosing self-care - a choice that improves their lives.

I was referred to Dr. Alexander through word of mouth and I am forever grateful for that referral. Dr. Alexander is not only knowledgable but also genuinely cares about you as a person. She is thorough in her explanations and does not pose any treatments that you are uncomfortable with. She advises, then lets you make the ultimate decision. With someone with many teeth issues and sensitivity, every staff member that have assisted me have been great and very accommodating. My only regret is not finding her clinic sooner. I highly recommend her clinic even if you have to make the drive.

3rd visit to this office and everyone is always so nice. They are very patient and explain everything to you with as much detail as you need and will answer all of your questions. Very knowledgeable about treatment plans and explained to me why a previous treatment from another dental location was probably not the best option for me. Will be looking forward to upcoming appointments.

Dr. Alexander and Dr. Song made me feel extremely comfortable about being back in a dentist's office after a few years of skipping checkups. They were realistic in the sense that as long as my teeth are healthy - that's all that truly matters. They did not push cosmetic procedures and were very detailed in their explanations about any question I had about my teeth and the dentistry field in general. Very amazing women and glad I'm in their care!

Update: I broke my tooth and crown the other day...thought it will be a major thing, but doctor Alexander has such a solution that make it much better than I thought. Truly a great dentist. Highly recommended. Previous: I was at Alexander and Song Dentistry for teeth cleaning and whitening. I was absolutely happy with both. Teeth whitening does take a day or two later to see the great results. So don't worry if you don't see it right after the procedure is done. :) Everyone there was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Dr. Song is awesome! She gets in there and gets the job done while being very personable at the same time. The recommendations she provides come with reason, which I like because dentist offices aren't my favorite place to be. The office staff is great and all the forms that need to be filled out are digital. It's a great atmosphere and I highly recommend Dr. Song!

I was looking for a dentist close to my home. My sister had told me multiple times that she loved her dentist and they are right in my neighborhood. They were incredibly welcoming and kind. Getting my teeth examined and cleaned was efficient and pleasant.

I moved here from South Carolina and a friend referred me to Alexander & Song when I was looking for a dentist and it was the best experience. The staff was extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. I'm happy to say I have found a dentist in Texas that I love!
