She went on to pursue an additional three years of training and education at the University of Connecticut, one of the top orthodontic programs in the country, earning both her Orthodontics Certificate and Masters Degree in Dental Sciences.

Mairas smiling attitude goes a long way. She joined our team in 2017 and has been a cheerful addition to the team. Her specialty is new patient schedule coordination but she also handles all other aspects of patient service from reception.
Tara is a San Francisco Bay Area native, born and raised, and has called the peninsula home since 2013. She has three children that are the pride and joys of her life. When her children were born, Tara decided to take a break from work to focus on her kids.
When she decided to return to the workforce, she joined our team as our Front Office Patient Concierge. In August of 2020, Tara became our Treatment Coordinator. Her communication skills and her ability to adapt and stay focused make her the perfect fit for her role. Taras kindness towards people and her care for her work has benefited everyone in the office.
In her spare time, she enjoys being the proud mother of 2 grown boys and spending time with her family and grandchild. Her hobbies include gardening at her country home and working with essential oils.
Lucass passion for patient care and dentistry is at the core of his work. Since 2016 he has been gaining experience in pediatrics, orthodontics, and sedation dentistry. His years of experience make him well versed as an understanding and exceptional Registered Dental Assistant. Lucas plans on furthering his career in dentistry by attending dental school and becoming a dentist.
Roa joined our team as an experienced dental assistant. She is well versed in both general dentistry and orthodontics. Roa is a friendly and considerate as well as conscientious and compassionate care provider.
We are thrilled to have her on our team. She plans on pursuing a career in dentistry by completing an undergraduate degree in biology and attending dental school. Outside of work Roa enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as painting and doing outdoor activities.

I highly recommend consulting with Dr. Alborzi if you are confused about braces or Invisalign. I was impressed with how friendly Dr Alborzi and her staff is. I happened to be in the neighborhood and dropped by to see if Dr Alborzi could see me briefly. That first meeting changed my smile completely. I was a bit hesitant initially as my case was a bit complex but she made me feel so comfortable and addressed all my questions patiently. Thanks to Dr Alborzi for giving healthy teeth and the smile I always wanted!

I was referred to Dr. Alborzi by a family friend. Although my teeth looked fine visually, I underwent an Invisalign treatment that corrected my bite, which was causing severe TMD. Long story short: my treatment was quick, fairly painless, and overall an incredible success. If you are experiencing TMJ inflammation, I highly recommend you book a consultation with Dr. Alborzi. Thanks to her, I no longer experience jaw pain or popping, for the first time in 6 years. I breathe better at night and during exercise, I sleep more deeply, and I no longer clench my jaw as a natural stress response. I also swallow food and drink noticeably more easily -- things "go down the wrong pipe" a lot less frequently. In a year of treatment, I experienced no hiccups or gaps in appointments/treatment, staff were always responsive and knowledgeable. Treatment may be expensive, but with Dr. Alborzi you certainly get what you pay for. I cannot more highly recommend her practice for Invisalign treatment.

For my middle school kid, we were in search for an experienced yet up to date to latest dental advancements, and I finally competed my research to find Dr. Alexa Alborzi. Dr. Alborzi and her team is extremely friendly, well-organized, courteous and they maintain a great sanitized environment that made us feel very comfortable and safe. The x-ray and scanning was done in a timely and comfortable manner for my son. Post scanning doctor explained the problem statement and examination summary very clearly using models and also showed us how her Invisalign treatment plan will completely eliminate the crowding of teeth for my son in addition to expanding his jaw arches to satisfactory level. In the past, we were discouraged due to "uncomfortable" treatment options like expanders etc. that we were not ready for. Dr. Alexa Alborzi explained with confidence how she can handle Phase 1 and Phase2 with her vast experience and expertise and also showed some before and after experience pictures to boost our confidence. In fact our primary dentist also raised some doubt and concern about our decision to move forward with Dr. Alborzi as many dental professionals have limited experience on new technology and advances and even out of their utmost care for their patients they end up overlooking modern options available for treating orthodontic conditions. In fact, I ended up reading the entire book about Premier Orthodontists that features modern technology and advancements in Orthodontics and features Dr. Alborzi work among others. I found this book as a valuable and helpful experience based research. We are confident and optimistic as we start our journey with Dr. Alborzi for myself and my son. I was also impressed to find on the website about Dr. Alborzi as she does lot of non-profit work for underprivileged and needy children as well to give back to community. We are also exploring for my wife orthodontic treatment as well now that we have found Dr. Alexa Alborzi, we feel confident to receive personalized and best in class Orthodontist care. Dr. Alexa Alborzi is our choice of family Orthodontist. If you have not met with her for your Orthodontics needs you are missing out! Good luck!

I had braces as a child, then didn't wear my retainer... So I decided to fix my teeth again. Dr Alborzi did a very good job of straightening my teeth! I was initially a little hesitant because when I had my consultation it was over zoom (during the beginning of the Pandemic) with her assistant and a 2nd call with Dr Alborzi herself, and I didn't get a chance to meet them in person. However I decided to go with Alborzis office given all the good reviews she has. My teeth look great and she fixed my minor bite issue in only 7 months! I was scheduled to see her every 3 months, but I had an attachment fall off and needed a rescanning of my teeth for final retainers, but they were nice enough to accommodate me last minute.
