As a practitioner of dentistry, I believe that dentistry is more than just a scientific pursuit. It is also an art and requires aesthetic perception, intuition, intricate workmanship and above all, a very gentle hand.
I received my Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from Loma Linda University in Southern California in 2008. This top West Coast schools curriculum is well regarded for emphasizing extensive clinical training.
This philosophy continues with my commitment to constantly update my skills as new techniques in quality, cosmetic and restorative dentistry are developed. I strive to help my patients improve their long-term oral health by also stressing prevention.
My husband and I have two children and are actively involved in our church, school activities and our community. Visalia has been my home for over 16 years and home to my husband and his family for well over 30 years.

I haven't seen her yet, I just got a message asking for feedback from the visit? I was supposed to see her yesterday but couldn't because of work, then the office rs me for February 2023.

I'm always apprehensive going to a new dentist. No need to worry here. I had a great experience. Dr Coelho is a credit to dental profession. Caring, professional dentist and staff. Clean office, using up to date technology. This was the first time I've been given a pillow, dark glasses, and BP taken. Everything was clearly explained all the way through. Chairs face out to nice tall windows to look out at the trees. Top notch care and experience. I'm not dreading going to the dentist anymore.

Dr. Coelho has been my regular dentist since I moved to Visalia in 2018. She and her staff are very professional, very friendly and have done a great job taking care of my teeth. Never any long waiting time. Also, when I accidentally chipped a front tooth, she got me in that same day and you could never tell that a somewhat large portion of that tooth had to be replaced. I definitely highly recommend Dr. Coelho.

Liz the hygienist is the best hygienist I've ever had. She explains everything she's doing before she does it and checks in to make sure you're comfortable. Dr. Coelho is great she lets you know what the plan is and asks if you have questions. Customer service is lost in several places nowadays but not here.
