Dr. Roman Izmailov graduated from dental school in Eastern Europe in 1984. After moving to New York City in 1992, Dr. Izmailov attended the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD), where he graduated among the top of his class. After graduation, Dr. Izmailov completed his general and implant dentistry residency at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Following his residency, Dr. Izmailov served as a faculty member and Clinical Director at NYUCD.
Committed to giving back to his community, Dr. Izmailov has worked with the community outreach program at Refuah Health Center in Rockland County, New York, and was also the Dental Director at the Monsey Family Medical Center, where he helped coordinate dental care for patients in need. Dr. Izmailov has been chosen as a Top Dentist by Hudson Valley Magazine for several years.
WIth an established practice in Pomona since 2001, Dr. Izmailov continues to expand his skills and dental knowledge by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education in all phases of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and more.
An active member of his community, Dr. Izmailov has lived in Rockland County for 25 years and has three children, two of whom are now doctors. His older daughter is a pediatric dentist , his middle daughter is a pediatric psychiatrist, and Dr. Izmailovs youngest is currently a student in dental school. In his free time, Dr.Izmailov enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and reading.

Great dental experience, staff was courteous and friendly. Very short wait time and nice clean office. They didn't push me into getting work done and were transparent and honest. Would highly recommend!

The appointments are very bad and the front desk woman and is rude as hell... I am furious that I can't be seen for a emergency visit they got me waiting until mid November!!!! Please don't come here stay away

I struggled to find a dentist I trusted until I found this one! I had cracked two of my teeth due to grinding at night. I called at 5pm and the doctor saw me first thing the next morning at 8 am! It was determined that I should get porcelain vanears. The doctor was very very precise on matching the color and fit - they look perfect! He always made sure I was very very comfortable as well! 5 stars from reception to hospitality to dental work!

After moving from Queens to Rockland I was so nervous to find a new and good dentist for my extensive dental work. I am so incredibly happy i found this dentist. HE IS compassionate to my dental fears and pain free !! After so many bad experiences I am so happy to be here !!! Very recommended
