Dr. Simpson grew up in New Boston and graduated from Westmer High School. She went on to Augustana College where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Biology. From there she attended Midwestern University College of
Taylor graduated from the Dental Hygiene Program at Carl Sandburg College May of 2016 and started at Aledo Family Dentistry that same year. Taylor grew up in Alpha, IL. and currently lives southeast of Aledo
Kylee is a Mercer County high school graduate and has been in Dentistry since 2020 when she graduated from Midwest Technical Institute for Dental assisting. Kylee joined the Aledo Family Dentistry team August of 2021

Yes we work with patients to make dental care affordable. Finances should not affect your dental health. We accept cash, checks and credit cards. We also work with Care Credit to arrange alternative financial arrangements.
Yes When it is in your best interest to see a specialist we will refer you. This includes oral surgeons (oral surgery), periodontists (gum specialists), orthodontists (tooth straightening), endodontists (root canals) and pedodontists (childrens dentistry).
Yes Denture teeth wear and so does the bone the denture fits on. Poorly fit or worn dentures can/may cause sleep apnea, stroke or even death. Yearly cancer screenings, exams of denture users are extremely important.
Yes we currently have digital x-rays These are easier to read than film. We also have the ability to manipulate contrast which makes diagnosis more accurate. We also use an intra-oral camera to help identify dental problems and help patients understand their dental needs. We use electric handpieces that are quieter and more comfortable than the traditional air driven handpieces. We also have a soft tissue laser that comfortably removes unhealthy tissue in the mouth.

I have never waited more than a few minutes to see someone. They're so diligent and helpful. I came in with a slew of dental issues and the fantastic folks here were about to create a care plan that would get me and my teeth back in shape.

You know what everything is going to cost ahead of time, they do everything they can to work with you and your schedule, and if you can find a friendlier staff I will eat my left shoe. I can't praise them enough.

Made my kids appointment back 6 months ago for their regular cleaning. Arranged for someone to take them. When they got there they cleaned their teeth then to find out the actual dentist is not in the office. I have to arrange again for them to go back to see her. Took my son back to see her all so she could tell him he needs to brush after he eats every time. Sorry but working parents don't have the time to mess with this dentist. To top it off of my son had to miss two days of work because of her also.

Such a caring and professional team! They were able to get my husband in to have a tooth pulled in 20 minutes!! They were booked, but knew he would have a hard time making it till Tuesday. Great service, friendly staff!! Thank you all!!

I chipped my front tooth and call the dentist and got a appointment the next day. I was in and out well I'm very nice new tooth. Staff is very friendly. What I like most they let you know what the prices or cost of everything is going to be so there are no surprises

My family and I have gone to Aledo Family Dentistry for as long as I can remember. The staff has always been friendly and with three siblings in my family, they always did a good job getting us in and cooperating with our tight schedules. As of late their service has declined significantly. To the point where I feel justified writing a review and giving them one star. Not only have I waited half hours, even an hour in the waiting room for a scheduled appointment. I have tried making follow-up appointments after getting wisdom teeth removal just to be put off or referred to another office. I was able to change my schedule, get a follow-up, and was disappointed again when I waited in the waiting room for an hour with dry sockets. The result was a 3 minute appointment with a doctor who was not personable, showed no interest in my concerns, and went to his next appointment without so much as "have a nice day". Dr. Olson would be really disappointed in the direction of this office and I will not be going back any time soon.
