Dr. Jerem J. Mitchell grew up in the Beaverton, Oregon area and graduated from Sunset High School. Dr. Mitchell completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University where he met his wife Amy.
Following graduation, Dr. Mitchell pursued his dental degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University where he graduated with honors. Immediately afterwards, Dr. Mitchell was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army and moved his family to Fort Drum, New York. Here he had the privilege of providing dental care to soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division.
During his military service, Dr. Mitchell's excitement for dentistry and professional growth continued. After several years of service to his country, he and his family decided it was time to come back to the beautiful Northwest and bring their great experiences from the Northeast with them. He and Dr. Alder began working together in June of 2007 and they enjoyed this unique partnership ever since.
Dr. James C. Alder grew up locally, graduating from Sunset High School in 1972. He graduated cum laude in 1978 from Brigham Young University, and with honors from the School of Dentistry at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1982. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1997.
Dr. Alder and his wife Elaine have been married 43 years and are the parents of four daughters and eleven grandchildren. They are lucky to have much of their family living close by and enjoy being together. They enjoy boating and water skiing in the summer and snow skiing in the winter. Dr. Alder still tries to keep up on the basketball court, plays golf as a member of Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club, and water skis as a member of Blue Heron Ski Club in Banks.
Jessica and her husband Matthew Taylor live in Beaverton in the same neighborhood where Jessica attended grade school. They have four daughters: Emily, Angela, Nicole, and Ashley. Matthew is an Oncologist at Providence Hospital. Jenniferand her husband Jeff Brinkerhoff also live in Beaverton. They have five daughters and a son: Ellen, Rachel, Kate, Ruth, John, and Lucy. Jennifer tutors math students and Jeff works in businesssystems for Slalom Consulting. Michellelives at home, works a few hours in our dental office and at Great Harvest Bread Company at Tanasbourne. Melissaand her husband Casey Wright live in Redmond, WA where Casey is in his last year of his PhD in clinical psychology. Melissa enjoys raising their three boys: James, Jojo, and Jacob; as well as tutoring and teaching fitness classes.

Always a great experience considering going to the dentist is not most people's idea of fun. I've been a patient of Dr. Alder's for 27 years. That ought to say something!

I've been going to this dental practice for over 20 years & I'm always satisfied with the services and products I've received over this time. Recently, I received a partial bridge that involved 2 implants. The attention to detail was amazing, as was the outcome! They were as happy for me as I was!!! Best experience ever1

I'm a recovering dental-phobic, so naturally, I was on edge when I started with Dr. Alder five years ago. He and his son have been nothing but top-notch dentists with a kind touch and a caring heart. I have received nothing but the best of care. Just the other day, I had a bad accident while hiking, and Dr. Alder saw me the very first thing the next day. While the news was not good (four fractured teeth) he came up with a plan to repair them that I could handle and afford.

Just got my teeth cleaned here. Absolutely amazing, between educating me and taking care of my teeth. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I just quite chewing tobacco, not only did they remove all my stains, they made me feel comfortable during the whole process. Thank you again.

I've been with Dr. Alder and Dr. Mitchell throughout my childhood and now into my 20s. Had a lot of issues with my teeth that needed surgeries, and they handled everything so well. The entire staff is amazing, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have been a patient of Dr. Alder for over 25 years. I have always had wonderful results on any procedures I have need ed over the years. I have always been impressed how honest they have been with me on whatever needed to be done. Dr Alder has always impressed me with his professionalism, kindness, and good work. I have never had a bad outcome on any of my procedures that he performed. He also has a very friendly staff!

My wife and I have been taking our family there for many years now. They are very good with the young kids and are very friendly and professional. Insurance billing has been straightforward. I like their system for appointment reminders, etc. They use technology to advantage, but still have a very personal touch. I recommend this dental office to friends all the time, whether for adults or children. I feel they don't push unnecessary procedures, which is an issue with many dental offices.

I've been a patient of Drs. Alder and Mitchell for most of my 40 years here in Oregon. I've always received top-notch care from the dentists and the various hygienists. They inform me of areas of concern and how I can best manage them, yet don't push me into unnecessary treatments. The decision is always mine, but they arm me with the best data to make those decisions. I feel fortunate that I found a dental facility that I have been willing to retain for such a long time.

We have been going to here for over 2 years and love it. Great systems, great care and quick replies to question. Our 4 year old is always asking to go so I guess she likes it too! Our experiences with Dr. Mitchell and all the staff have been simply AWESOME! Edit (August.2021): Still awesome. Great job scheduling a family of 4, super work giving a 4 year old a filling. Gentle yet effective communication that Dad needs to drive oral hygiene better for his little ones and good advice on how to do so. But seriously, how do you get a 5 year old to floss?
