Dr. Travis Hampton attended Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia, where he majored in biology. He was accepted into the Medical College of Georgia, School of Dentistry at the age of 19, making him one of the youngest applicants ever accepted in the program. He graduated from the Medical of Georgia in 1991 with a doctorate degree in dental medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Hampton was selected by his fellow classmates for the Dorothy C. Hearn award, which recognizes personal attributes advantageous to dentistry.
Dr. Hampton has practiced dentistry in his family practice in Covington, Georgia for over 20 years. Dr. Hampton firmly believes in continuing education and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires over 1,100 hours of continuing education and to pass the rigorous Mastership examination. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. While not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hampton enjoys golfing and other sports and playing the guitar.

I've been going to Alcovy Dental for many years and would NEVER trust anyone else but Dr. Travis Hampton & his staff to work on my teeth. These people do not believe in letting you suffer with pain at all and consistently go above and beyond what is expected. They are ALWAYS polite and professional. The office is warm, inviting and most importantly clean. If you are new to the area or not satisfied with your current dentist, please consider Alcovy Dental. You will NOT be disappointed! They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

Dr. Hampton and staff are top-notch. I had to have a difficult extraction on a molar done today. Dr. Hampton successfully removed the tooth and I didn't experience any pain or significant discomfort during the procedure.

This office came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. The amount of information shared with me as a patient was enormous. So, I had additional questions the following day and they addressed them without hesitation. I was made welcome and comforted by everyone from the front desk to Dr Hampton's chair side demeanor. My husband and I will be back for treatment plans and routine procedures. I feel relief!
