The purpose of Alcona Citizens for Health, Inc. (Alcona Health Center), shall be to promote, develop and operate such facilities and programs as are necessary to provide quality health care to all residents of Alcona County and the surrounding areas, regardless of ability to pay.
Originally established in 1978 in Lincoln, MI, Alcona Health Center is a non profit, Federally Qualified Community Health Center with locations throughout northern lower Michigan and the eastern upper peninsula. We provide comprehensive medical, behavioral health, dental and pharmacy services with locations in the counties of Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Chippewa, Iosco, Emmet, and *Otsego. (*Otsego county only has school based behavioral health offered in Gaylord Schools.)
A Patient Centered Medical Home uses a team approach to providing healthcare. Your healthcare team includes your primary care provider, other medical staff, those that support you and most importantly YOU!
Your care team works hard to keep your care consistent and effective. The Alcona Health Center team of medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy professionals will work with you to establish and manage your health goals and assist you in achieving your best possible health! If you need some extra one on one support our Care Managers and Community Health Workers are available to lend a hand.
Alcona Health Centers volunteer Board of Directors is composed of our patients and other representatives from the geographic areas that we serve. Their role is to provide oversight and strategic direction for our organization. They ensure that we are holding true to our mission and that our services are meeting the ever changing healthcare needs of our Northern MI communities.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Most thorough exam and Dr Manzini was wonderful. I went in with several broken/neglected teeth and my feelings of embarrassment were quickly put at ease. Dr answered all questions and was reassuring and kind. God Bless them all. So glad to find these people and look forward to healing.

I am so happy to be a patient at Alcona Health Center Dental Oscoda. Staff is just not professional but they also helped me with many extractions, fillings and helped me get great partials that fit, now I can finally eat. I will not switch dentists or clinics. Dr. Manzini works great with me, she's professional, and explains everything to me before something is done. I'm also thankful for the samples of products I'm trying now. I came to this dental clinic with dental nightmares and Dr. Manzini proudly did amazing work to save what teeth could be saved. I owe my brand new smile to her and her amazing education and work with partials. I am happy with my new partials. Appointments are made in a timely manner and all of the dental staff know me by name, and are respectful and pleasant to talk to. Again I am grateful for everything the staff and clinic has done for me. I want to say I'm happy with every appointment. Jean is a great hygienist, Burghan and Erin are great techs and are very educated, respectful and kind with a great sense of humor. Thank you all again for what you've done for me. Manzini is the best dentist I've ever met. 10/10 rating.

Her husband love to Dennis he loved coming there and if I can get my situation straightened out with her Humana I would love to come there too since I haven't had anything that yet so I hope her h u m a n a it's the situation straightened out so I can come and get my dental work done thank you and have a beautiful day we love you guys

The new building is great, the parking and entrance to the building are a lot better than they used to be. The staff is wonderful, they always have been. They do a great job there.

The whole staff is very patient & thorough with any questions or concerns. Dr. Manzini is not only highly skilled but has a fabulous, calming disposition with a terrific sense of humor. The scheduling is reasonable and the facility itself is very clean. I highly recommend them!

The girls in the office are amazingly thorough and friendly. I have never gotten a knock massage (to check for swelling) at the dentist. Love my dentist and hygienist!!

The staff are very kind and helpful when u have anxiety I've never had a good experience with a dentist till I went here she worked with me thru all of it and helped me be comfortable. The world needs more dentists like this!!!!!

Jean Bridgman is the best hygienist I've ever had hands down, When she told me she was no longer in Lincoln I had to follow her to oscoda. She informed me that the dentist there Manzini is amazing and I would love her. And Jean wasn't lying, Manzini really takes the time with her patient's and not only that she is amazing with children! My two year old girl left with a huge smile on her face. They really all made it the dentist an amazing experience! And the best part my two year old didn't leave traumatized! I will recommend Manzini and Jean Bridgman to everyone because they are amazing!

The staff has been very pleasant. Today I went in with tooth pain and tho they couldn't fix it right then, they gave me all my options. I appreciate there being a dental practice that accepts my insurance in the area.
