I have been practicing in the specialty field of orthodontics in the Ogden, Utah area since 1997. I am passionate about creating beautiful smiles. It is very satisfying to provide a service that changes peoples lives, health, and self-esteem. I truly appreciate being able to see the transformation of our patients as their confidence grows and they achieve the beautiful smiles theyve always wanted.
My patients become more than just patients to me; they and their families are friends. I enjoy using my talents to provide my patients with excellent smiles and to improve their quality of life. We provide excellent care and a wonderful experience in a warm, caring, fun, family-oriented atmosphere.

I am very excited about continuing education. I feel that to offer the best service to my patients, I need to stay up-to-date on the most advanced technologies and orthodontic techniques. It also allows me to offer my patients the most comfortable and efficient treatment which in turn results in the best possible smile and quality of life. As an active participant in local and national professional organizations and a member of the Northern Utah Orthodontic Study Club, I take full advantage of the continuing education opportunities presented to me. I find great satisfaction in continuing to learn and grow.
I was born in Nevada, lived many years in Idaho, and have been in the Ogden area for more than 32 years. My wife, Laurie, and I have six kids, Oakley, Matthew, Lindsay, Brooke, Kellie, and Malan. We also have two dogs, Kitsel, a German wire-haired pointer, and Tori, an English springer spaniel.
I love spending time with Laurie and we enjoy watching the kids dance and play soccer. I love to fish, hunt, go snowmobiling, and be outdoors. I am also a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America and am active in my church. I feel it is very important to give back to improve the lives of those around us.
Getting to see her patients smile is Ashleys favorite part of her job. She loves working with so many different people and getting to be around so many fun personalities. She also enjoys the challenges that orthodontics presents and learning new ways to solve problems. Ashley and her husband moved to Utah in 2010 and love it here. She has an adorable Pomeranian, loves outdoor sports, and likes trying out new crafts.
Erin is the latest addition to our practice. She brings a fun outlook with her smiling personality. Erin studied at the Utah Orthodontic School and is currently attending Weber State University. Erin graduated from Northridge high school and we love how she keeps us up on the latest trends.
Jennifer keeps track of all our marketing needs. She truly enjoys watching the transformation of our patients as they go through their orthodontic treatment and loves seeing the wonderful confidence they gain. Jennifer lives in Eden with her husband and two daughters.
Jessica has had the opportunity to work with many orthodontic offices all across the country teaching them about the latest orthodontic office technology. Her love of orthodontics and the way orthodontic offices work brought her to our office. We love how she keeps us up to date with the newest gadgets. Jessica lives in North Ogden with her husband of 20years and her two cute boys. They enjoy camping, fishing, road trips, and just being together.
Melissa started out working in a lab where she made study models and retainers, and switched to orthodontics in 2010. She loves meeting our new patients, watching as their smiles and self-esteem progress over time, and being part of each patients life-changing experience. Melissa married her husband in February of 2012 and they have a puppy named Kevin.
Rachel works one-on-one with our patients to ensure the success of their treatment. Her favorite thing about orthodontics is getting to know all our younger patients and seeing them grow up into adults with beautiful smiles. She loves to see our patients so happy with their results. Rachel lives in Pleasant View with her husband and three children.

Not ever knowing I had a tongue thrust, which was why my teeth kept moving, I decided to get braces again for the third time, and this being my first time with Dr. Albrechtsen. Dr. Albrechtsen is a great orthodontist! Not only does he take time with you and explain things very well, but he also gets really excited with you on your journey wearing braces. He places the brackets higher on the tooth so most of the time others couldn't tell I had them on. Which is great especially being an adult! All four of my children have has their braces done by him and their teeth look beautiful! So if you're looking for an orthodontist for either you or your children, I highly recommend him!

They are always prompt and get us in and out. Dr. Albrechtsen is very kind and explains things thoroughly. They are also very organized and the office is always sparkling clean.

Dr A is amazing. My son's lower jaw was growing faster than the upper jaw. Dr A worked his magic and used his skills to help hold his jaw. It saved us from having surgery.My daughter also went to Dr A. Her teeth were really crooked. She had to wear a headgear at night. The thing I loved about their office is that they strive to be on time. They also grade the kids on how clean they keep their teeth. They offer suggestions and teach them how to keep their teeth clean. They have contests and fun activities. The prices are comparable to other orthodontic offices. What you get from Dr A that you don't find somewhere else is very specialized care and on time appointments. I never waited more than just a couple of minutes. I visited the Farr West office. It was really close to my house. Sometimes we had to go to the South Ogden office, and it was easy to get to as well. I highly recommend going to Albrechtsen Orthodontics.

As a middle-aged woman I was very nervous about getting braces. From the minute I walked into their office I felt at ease. I was very happy when it was suggested that I qualify for Invisalign. I was told it would take about 18 months but after following doctor's orders 100% it only took 14 months! Dr. Albrechtsen was knowledgeable, thorough, kind and professional. I could not be happier with the final results!!
