Our hospital is accredited by the NAEC as a level 3 epilepsy center. Level 3 epilepsy centers have the professional expertise and facilities to provide the highest-level medical evaluation and treatment for patients with complex epilepsy.

Our five Immediate Care Centers (ICCs) offer front-line medical treatment when and where you need it. The centers provide walk-in care for health matters ranging from minor issues to non-life-threatening conditions (those which dont require Emergency Department treatment) for people of all ages.
In addition to the same minor-illness and injury care your NCH primary care physician provides, our Immediate Care Centers offer additional services for other conditions such as allergic reactions, broken bones, X-rays and pre-employment physicals and testing.
Our Emergency Department is intended for patients who may have severe, life-threatening conditions or injuries. People who come to the emergency department with serious conditions or injuries are treated first, and those with minor illnesses may wait longer for care. We serve more than 76,000 emergency patients each year. Our 51 private treatment rooms create a safe and healing environment.
According to theAgency for Healthcare Research and Quality, in recent years more than half of surgical procedures (57.8 percent) have occurred in a hospital-owned outpatient surgery setting. Our Day Surgery Center is one of the largest in the state and offers a wide range of same-day procedures, including cosmetic procedures, minimally invasive sports medicine procedures and minor eye surgeries.
