Google does an extremely poor job of allowing new reviews once an old review is history, but on the other hand my experience with dr Hodges was worth the frustration encountered trying to update an old review. History means everything and my history with this practice goes back several years. Dr Hodges is thorough, gentle, professional and experienced well enough to make any visit a comfortable encounter. I have confidence in their work and that's history and experience reviewing!

The staff and Dr Spiller were all extremely compassionate. They were able to get me in quickly to address an urgent dental issue. They explained everything thoroughly to help calm my nerves. I couldn't have gotten through the procedure without them cheering me on.

I came in during a prolonged visit in Cville. This is not my regular dental clinic but Dr. Hodges is a great dentist, impressively meticulous and patient. However, there were several instances of communication issues I experienced with the staff, particularly with regads to insurance coverage prior to treatment; but also with more trivial tasks like responding to my messages via their contact form, correcting my mailing address, sending out xrays, etc.

Dr. Hodges, and the health care workers and staff, put the "care" into patient care: they are responsive experts who strive to achieve the very best outcomes for their patients. Their dental training and experience is vast, with cutting edge diagnostics and treatments available. Also, the overall office atmosphere is safety and comfort first, as they maintain Covid-19 protocols by carefully cleaning and sanitizing rooms and equipment between patients, keep ventilation at maximum, mask, and do a nightly UV sweep of the suites, to protect both staff and patient. I have been a patient for 25 years, and am always impressed by Dr. Hodges' professionalism as well as his commitment to help each person to the best of his abilities. I highly recommend this practice to you and your family.
