Who knew I'd be over 60 before I found the best dentist I have ever experienced in my life. Dr Giovanni Castro showed me a LEVEL of CARE and COMPASSION I hadn't experienced in ALL my trips to the dentist. Great results and his toe wiggling technique, to lessen the pain of injection, surprisingly, really works VERY GLAD that I lucked into him and would give him 6 stars if I could

I just feel it doesnt take 8 months to get dentures after getting teeth pulled. i had 5 teeth pull from top in february 2022 and 5 teeth pull in march of 2022. i been going back and forth to dentist office since and i haven't gotten my dentures yet. It's been a nightmare for me to not be able to eat food period. whatever i eat i have to gum it down dats something i wouldn't wish on anyone. My point is i wouldn't recommend Albany West Dental Clinic off of Oakridge Rd to anyone.

A horrible and embarrassing experience with this place. Totally incompetent office staff. They have no idea how to do their job. I have been receiving dental treatment from the clinic since December 2021. informed them several times that a preauthorization was necessary. I have made 6 visits to have dentures fitted and made. Today, October 12th 2022 I was supposed to get my final dentures. I was made to wait two hours. My appointment was at 2:30. I was called to the window at 4:39and told I would have to pay for my dentures before I could go to the back. I informed them again I had two dental insurance plans. I had informed the office personal months ago they needed to get preauthorizations for the planned procedures. I was ignored. Now today when I was supposed to get my dentures, I am told I need to pay for the dentures. That is not how it works. You tell me how much the bill is and how much the insurance paid. Then I pay the balance. The ignorant office manager informed me to have a seat while she contacted my insurance company. "Like they are really going to answer the phone at closing for the day."There was a severe thunderstorm storm predicted for Albany. I informed them I was going home they could call me when they figured it out. The stupid office manager complained that I was yelling. I was angry enough at her to spit fire. Waiting the last minute to do what I told them months ago needed to be done. The office manager kept telling me the insurance company did not require a preauthorization. I yelled, " oh but I needed one and could have been paying on the balance a little along. But you wait the day I am to get the dentures, after waiting two hours, me on a fixed income, to inform me I can not get the dentures unless I have the money to pay for them. You have disrespected and embarrassed me.

I wouldn't recommend this office to no one!! I came 3 times and got told something different everytime.. very unprofessional and the representative says one thing and then when you get there it's totally different.

There are no words to describe the excellent professional dental care I have been receiving from Dr Tiara Marshall and her friendly staff. They went above and beyond to put me at ease. Dr Marshall is amazing. I just love her. Dr Tiara Marshall does her best to be oh so gentle. Creating very little pain as she extracted my tooth and performed many filling procedures. She was very meticulous to be certain my dentures were going to be snug, look realistic and give me back my smile. I highly recommend Dr Tiara Marshall and her staff at West Albany Dental Center the best kept dental secret in Albany, Georgia.

If I could give 6 stars I would! Recent addition Dr Dawson, and her assistant Orriana, 2 extractions, 3 days apart. Made a BAD situation, GOOD experiences. BEST dental team, for me, in decades! Also a shout out to Greta, an AAPHC phone rep with actual dental experience/knowledge

Dr. Dawson and her staff are professional and nice people period. I was in pain but I left that office in no pain and an appointment to come back to handle other dental issues. I would recommend this office to anyone seeking an understanding reliable professional staff!

I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Killingsworth! We were visiting Albany over the holiday weekend when my son broke his tooth. Dr. Killingsworth talked with me over several phone calls trying to coordinate care and was able to help us off the clock for not even one of her own patients. I was so stressed but her care and concern was evident through all our conversations, and I appreciated it so much!

This clinic is completely unsanitary and patients are required to take an oral temp check from a dental assistant that either never wears gloves or efuses to sanitize her hands and has just touched the main door to the waiting room before putting her hand 1/4 inch from your mouth. This is completely unacceptable. When asked if the assistant could sanitize her hands or wear gloves, I was met with rudeness and disbelief on my previous 2 visits. Additionally, in the dental cubicle I witnessed a high level of cross contamination between the computer (which multiple staff were coming in an out using) and my personal dental equipment. Some practicioners that were touching the computer wore gloves and some did not. The computer was never sanitized between uses. New gloves were not used after touching the commonly used monitor before laying out the equipment that went in my mouth. I understand the clinic is completely overrun by sliding scale patients and that doctors and residents are overwhelmed. This however is no excuse for the practices in place. Explains the clinic or hire more staff so you can adequately provide care. If you cannot, and choose to be negligent and spread disease, it would seem to be a Hippocratic oath violation and overall these practices should be reported to the health office immediately.

Although a person can find fault with any business, this place is awesome! Doctor Dawson is great. She is very professional and concern about your health. Hope to be a permanent customer!

I have had a broken and painful back tooth and a chipped front tooth since December 2019. I have been trying to get an appt. To pull back and repair front since then. They always set me an appt. 3 months out then send me a letter they have to reschedule because the dentist will not be in that day. I had appt for next month but received another letter so now can't be seen until April. Now my front tooth has completely broken off. They cancelled my husband's appts. Said they would call him with another and he has never had a call. We will now be going elsewhere.

I have called and called them about an appointment . I talked to someone Two different times about my appointment and how I need to pay when I come to the dentist. Every time they would say let me find out and we will call you. No one will called me so I missed 2 of my appointment because I needed to make sure I had the funds before I went. when you call you can never get through or they put you on hold and never come back to the phone. I think this very unprofessional.

Dr Dawson is awesome. I have no insurance and at the present time unemployed. They saw me and treated me same day. I had no funds to get my 2 prescriptions. One of the employees called and paid for my medicine. She was heaven sent. May God bless this staff. Words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you all.
