I went to the practice a few years ago and my experience was so traumatizing that I am just now ready to talk about it. From waiting hours in a chair to be seen, to her dropping tools on my chest during my oral exams and her outright ignoring my complaints of pain which lead me to loose 2 teeth... I would run far away from this practice. I am surprised she is still open.

I visited a few weeks ago specifically asking for a dental cleaning and exam, noting that I have a known cavity (diagnosed by my regular dentist) that I want to know if needs to be filled. They didn't detect the cavity via X-ray even though it's visible to the naked eye. They also said that even though I have "no plaque or tartar" (I do!) I have advanced gum disease and they immediately booked me for a very expensive deep cleaning procedure the following week. Keep in mind that I am a young woman who has no previous diagnosis of gum disease but DOES have an existing cavity. I've had fairly extensive dental work done and have a good understanding of procedure, and this just wasn't it. They sent me on my way without so much as flossing my teeth. It was the strangest dental experience I've had especially when asking for the most basic appointment. I will not be returning.

I've been a regular patient of Dr. Jiminez for several years. She has treated me for advanced issues and routine cleaning. I am very satisfied with her treatment and will continue to work with her to keep me teeth healthy and clean.

I've been a patient with Albania Dental doe nearly 20 years. I am grateful to have found such a great dentist in Dr. Jimenez. She and her team are always professional, efficient and courteous. I'm very pleased with my ongoing experience, everything from basic cleanings to orthodontics. I recommend Albania Dental to anyone look for new or changing dental care. Thanks much Dr. Jimenez and team!

I had to wait almost an hour for my appointment, and once I met with Dr. Jimenez she continuously cut me off in the middle of my sentences trying to explain my reason for visiting. She demanded I pay her over $5,000 dollars to take over the monitoring process of a Clearcorrect (invisalign) case that I began in Ohio, although I was assured by reps of the company and my former dentist that there is no fee to transfer the case. She would not allow me to finish explaining myself, raised her voice when I tried (very politely) to talk through the confusion, and she refused to speak with my former dentist or check in with the Clearcorrect provider when I offered that option. Her shocking lack of listening and her extremely condescending and loud language made me have to get up and walk out of the room as her rebuttals turned into personal insults towards me. The next dentist I visited shortly thereafter immediately took on my case for free and with no issue, which is normal protocol for Clearcorrect cases. I'm very easygoing and don't expect people to always be polite, but the level of rudeness and misinformed anger from Dr. Jiminez was more shocking and reprehensible than anything I've ever experienced in a professional setting.

I went to this practice a couple weeks ago after looking for practice which takes Aetna insurance. I had x-rays sent from another practice. Dr. Jimenez said that she was unable to read those x-rays and insisted on taking another of the broken tooth that I needed fixed. She then said that not only do I need to have the broken tooth removed, but that the one next to it was infected and needed to come out. AND two more teeth needed root canals on the same side. I had another broken tooth on the other side that she also said she would be unable to fix and that would need to come out. When I said I didn't have much left on my insurance I mentioned that I did have Care Credit. She wanted to know how much was left on the card. She was very concerned about money and how much was available. I ended up canceling the appointment after having a minor car accident. And I'm very glad I did. I ended up going back to my long-time dentist (who doesn't take Aetna) for a second opinion. He told me that not only did the 2nd tooth not need taken out, but it wasn't the infected tooth at all. It was the broken tooth that was infected. I don't need either of the root canals Dr. Jimenez said I needed and the tooth she said she couldn't fix can be fixed with a filling. He ended up taking out the infected tooth. I paid less than $300 for what Albania Dental was going to charge $600 for. I do not recommend this practice.

I visited this dentist about 2 years ago and my experience was so distasteful. While I was in pain seeking treatment, all this dentist was talking about was how was I going to pay for my treatment even though my insurance was covering the treatment. She had me applying to a credit card to pay for $5000 worth of dental treatment. My advice to Dr Maria is to focus on providing good dental treatment instead of only talking about money and trying to make patients pay for more treatment that what they actually need ,it is dishonest and unethical.

I discovered Albania Dental when I chipped my tooth. My tooth looked terrible. The chip was so bad (literally half of my front tooth was gone). Dr. Maria went out of her way to see me on Labor day! She explained exactly what was going to happen (treatment wise). I went in and got a root canal and a crown. My mouth looks good and feels great. I can honestly say Dr. Maria saved my smile! Years later and I'm still going back. Even in these pandemic times Albania dental is one of the safest and comfortable dental offices that I know about.
