Dr. Alana Macalik, or Dr. Mac Loves teeth. She loves fixing teeth, restoring teeth, and making teeth great again! She has loved teeth since she was young and had her teeth fixed. Dr. Macaliks goal for her Arlington Texas community is to eliminate the need for major dental work by helping educate people and through prevention.
Dr. Macalik grew up in North Dallas and has lived in the metroplex her entire life. She went to University of Texas in Austin and went on to Baylor College of Dentistry, which is now part of the Texas A&M Health Science Center. She loves going on mission trips all over the world to help people who have no access to dental care to receive treatment.
Dr. Macalik is married to her wonderful husband Matt and has four teenagers and two younger daughters. In her spare time. lets be honest, what spare time? If she had spare time she would spend it volunteering with her church family or crafting and gardening.
Dr. Jeffrey Pope received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University in 2005, his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2009, and his Master of Science in Oral Biology and Certificate in Periodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2012. Dr. Pope is a board-certified periodontist by the American Academy of Periodontology. In addition to maintaining a private practice limited to periodontics, minimally invasive surgery, and implant dentistry, Dr. Pope is an adjunct clinical professor at Texas A&M College of Dentistry teaching implant placement and bone augmentation procedures to post-doctoral residents. Dr. Pope has authored or co-authored numerous publications that have appeared in periodontal, hygiene, and dental journals. Dr. Pope has been named to D Magazines Best Dentist list and Texas Monthlys Super Dentists list since2017.
Dr. Lori Harrell got her DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center in 2013. In the 11th grade she went on a field trip to LSUs dental school and her interest was sparked. The more research and volunteer hours she spends, the more she likes the field of dentistry. Speaking of volunteering, while she lived in Europe for 8 years, she spent some time as a Red Cross volunteer dentist, treating soldiers and their families overseas. She enjoys working with her hands and loves when she can soothe a scared patient and make their experience better than they expected. She and her husband John have 4 kids and one rescue dog River. Outside of work she stays active enjoying reading, running, travel, hiking & biking.
Amy has been practicing dental hygiene since 2004. She has had the opportunity to work in both pediatric and general dentistry and enjoys both of them. Her favorite part about her job as a dental hygienist is building relationships with her patients. She loves getting to know people and their life experiences. She especially loves working with anxious patients, taking her time to ease their anxieties and give them a positive dental experience. She and her husband have two children, a son and a daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and traveling.
Kendall has been a dental hygienist since 1979. She attended Texas A&M University and completed her training in dental hygiene at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She loves seeing lives and smiles transformed through beautiful dentistry. She also enjoys working with patients who have faced difficult dental situations in the past and see trust develop as they come to know Dr. Macalik and her dental team. Kendall also enjoys gardening, entertaining, church activities, and spending time with her three boys.
Linda has been a dental assistant since 2012 and looks forward to many more years in the dental field. Shes always wanted to be in a field that helps people and, as a young teenager, she enjoyed going to the dentist and orthodontist and seeing all the fancy gadgets. She loves being part of a team that helps improve the quality of life for others while improving their smile. Linda is married to one of the most amazing men in the world and is a mom to a wonderful and rambunctious son, expecting a baby girl in spring 2018 and two fur babies. Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, she is 100% Texan.
Were pleased to have Robbi as the office manager. Robbi has been a dental assistant for 25 years. She decided to go into the dental field to help people not be afraid of going to the dentist andhas come to specialize in patient comfort! She loves helping people keep their smile beautiful. Robbi is married, has 3 awesome sons, 2 dogs and 1 cat. She loves to spend time outside in the summer and enjoys Crossfit. Born and raised in Irving, Texas but has lived in Arlington, Texas for the past 20 years.
Erica was born in Tyler, raised in Kilgore and as of 2017 now lives in Arlington Texas. She graduated from Concord Career College in 2018. Erica become a dental assistant after a painful experience losing a tooth. She didnt want to lose another tooth so she decided to learn how to take care of her own teeth, and to help others take care of theirs. Erica admits she is afraid of antique dolls and clowns. Erica loves spending time with her family, cooking, and going shopping. She dreams about traveling to Jamaica.
Audrey was born and raised in Arlington Texas. Growing up she always enjoyed going to the dentist and always learning new things. She loves meeting new people and talking to them. She enjoys working with a well-oiled team. While not at work she enjoys spending time painting, drawing and being with her family. She owns a Siberian husky and a Daschund.
