Dr. Alan Persons moved to Arizona in the summer before he started second grade. He attended grade school through seventh grade on the street side of Phoenix. Before beginning his eighth grade year, he moved to the Glendale area, where he finished grade school and attended high school. He went to college in Arizona and then moved to Portland, Oregon, to attend dental school. He graduated from the Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in 1984 and moved back home to Arizona, where he plans to live the rest of his life.
He married his high school sweetheart and together they have five children and 12 grandchildren. The family enjoys camping and road trips, and our office walls have pictures of some of those trips. Dr. Persons is active in service in his church and has spent many years working with young men in the Boy Scout program, which he has enjoyed immensely. Dr. Persons enjoys, among other things, camping, reading, playing games and spending time with his family. He loves coming to work and having the opportunity to talk to and take care of patients.
Valorie Office Manager I have been working in the dental field for over 40 years. I learned to assist and take and develop X-rays. When the laws changed, I went to Phoenix College and took the X-ray certification class and got X-ray certified. In 2005 when my husband opened his own dental practice on 43rd Avenue and Peoria, I was the receptionist, assistant and had our children in the back room to care for while getting the practice started. We have patients today who still come and comment on those good ole days. Now our daughter is the hygienist! We moved to this location in 1988, so have been in this location for over 30 years. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dr. Persons, and our five children and 12 grandchildren. We have been very blessed. Our children all live close so we get together often. I enjoy camping, baking and doing family history.
Becky Registered Dental Hygienist As Dr. Persons daughter, I grew up in the dental office. I worked up front and helped out in the back office when I was in high school. After attending Glendale Community College, I attended Rio Salado School of Dental Hygiene and received my degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2002. I love getting to work with my dad and seeing the same patients for many years, as well as meeting new patients. When I first graduated, I enjoyed working for over six years as a part time hygienist in a pediatric dental office. Now, when Im not working, I enjoy reading and spending time with my husband and our four children.
Danielle Registered Dental Hygienist Smiles are a universal way of communicating and as a dental hygienist I love helping my patients keep their smiles healthy and beautiful. I grew up in Boise, Idaho. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2013 with my bachelors degree in dental hygiene. Since graduating I have worked in private practice dental offices as well as in public health. It is very important to me that all my patients have a positive experience in the dental chair. I love to hear my patients tell me their dental cleanings were comfortable and pain free. Im a new mom. I enjoy cooking, hiking and spending time with my wonderful family.
Tammy Registered Dental Hygienist Interacting with my patients is the best part of my day. I enjoy learning about my patients and feel they always have something to teach me. I love being a dental hygienist and part of the dental team. I have been a hygienist for over 18 years. I joined Dr. Persons practice in December of 2010. In my spare time away from the office, I enjoy spending time with family. I have been married for over 30 years and have two sons and a daughter-in-law. I enjoy traveling to our timeshare in Carlsbad, California.
Sandy Dental Assistant I have been working in dentistry for over 20 years and joined the team in December of 2010 as a certified dental assistant. I really enjoy working with Dr. Persons, and I love working with our patients and understanding their needs. I enjoy interacting and completing patients treatments and seeing the difference it makes. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling to the beach and camping with my loving husband of over 30 years. We have three children and one grandson, whom I love watching grow every day. My family and I currently reside in the city of Glendale.

It is so hard to find a good dentist. I waited a year to post my review. I have had 3 cleanings, one filling last year and one more next week. The one next week is on the edge of a crown. The dentist is going to try and fill it. He could of said replace crown, but will try the least expensive way, which I appreciate.

My husband and I were referred to Dr. Alan Pearson, we are very happy that we found him he is a very honest doctor his work is excellent the staff are very nice and we could not have found a better dentist I will recommend Dr. Alan to Family and friends.

I have known Alan Persons for years. Hes like a family member to me and my family. His work is exceptional ! This dentist is very honest if you don't need the work done, he will tell you that. He is very friendly and kind, and he has a great sense of humor. What more can you ask for ?

Dr. Persons has been my dentist for years and I have always felt comfortable under his care! He is very capable and very accommodating and I enjoy his relaxed, low key, congenial manner! I love my hygienist, she is just excellent! The front office is very well run under the capable hands of Mrs. Persons! She is very inviting and it is a relaxing space to start my visit.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST. I am not a fan of dentists but Dr. Parson's has to be the gentlest dentist I've ever met and his assistant is just as gentle. My most recent issue was with an implant where the screw had broken off. I was looking at the expense and down time of having it taken out and redone until Dr. Parson's office did a little reaching out to the dentist who put in this implant and they were able to find a replacement screw. Just this little effort saved me literally thousands of dollars. Thank you and GOD BLESS!!

I don't think I've ever had a better experience at the dentist. They were so nice even when I was late for my first appointment. The second time I went I was called right back as soon as I arrived. Dr Persons is such a happy and friendly guy and is so fun to talk to. He made sure I knew what was going on the whole time and answered all of my questions. 100% recommend.

I love how friendly everyone is. I have had only one billing issue in the past seven years caused by my insurance company. The office staff took care of it swiftly and professionally. I wish ALL medical offices were run as well as Dr. Persons' office is!

I had a seen a dentist that said I needed nine crowns. I didn't like that prognosis so I went for another opinion by a dentist that several friends had recommended. That was about 20+ years ago and I have not regretted switching to Dr Alan Persons. Oh, by the way, I haven't needed even one crown.
