Dr. Alan Nohr is a native of Washington State, having grown up in the city of Bothell. He graduated in 1985 with a Bachelors degree in Zoology, and in 1989 with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery, both from the University of Washington. He went on to complete a postdoctoral residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Nohr is a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle-King County Dental Society, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

I hate going to the dentist but because of the staff here I actually don't mind it as much:) . Melissa is the best dental hygienist and Doctor Nohr is so easy going and funny!

I have been a patient for about twenty years. I have received routine oral care, fillings, crowns and bridges. They did all the work in their office, without having to refer me to anyone else. They provide high quality professional care.

felt very taken care of. i am not a fan of having teeth worked in. when i found out i needed a root canal in addition to a cleaning i was ver anxious. the worst part was the anxiety driving in. the work went smoothly and without stress

I have seen Dr. Nohr for the last 10 yrs and was happy, until he recently hired a business mgr who used to work for Dr. Warner Young, who had an orthodontic practice across the street. Dr. Nohr's office referred me to Dr. Young, saying "Dr. Nohr sends his children there". However, during my orthodontic treatment Dr.Young abruptly closed his practice, robbing my family of $6k. I did not blame Dr. Nohr's office for this, as I felt they were victims as much as myself. However, now that the same business mgr is running Dr. Nohr's office, every time I hand my credit card to her, I feel slightly nauseated, and cannot help the feeling that Dr. Nohr is somehow complicit in my monetary loss. It is certainly an insensitive move on Dr. Nohr's part, knowing there are many victims of Dr. Young's crime in the area.

You could not ask for a better dentist and staff with Dr. Nohr. He is always very thorough and explains things in great detail, so you understand what needs to be done. I have been going here for 9 years now and could not be more satisfied.

I think highly of this practice, but lately, the turnover rate of their staff, including hygienists and administrative staff, have been a bit alarming.

Dr Nohr and his staff are awesome. I've been coming here for years and have always had very pleasant, pain free visit- whether it's getting a cleaning or a new crown. The receptionist and billing department are very helpful and prompt with any insurance questions I've had and Dr Nohr and his team are so wonderful at answering my many questions about my treatment plan. They genuinely care about their patients it shows. I highly recommend.
