Dr. Chandra is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. She is a native of Fiji Islands who moved to Southern California at the age of 8. She earned her Bachelors of Science from the University of California, Irvine where she graduated with honors. She then attended UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated with a doctorate in dental surgery. She remained at UCLA for an additional six years to complete her surgical training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time she also obtained her medical degree and completed a surgical internship in General Surgery, both at UCLA.

As a resident, Dr. Chandra had the privilege to participate in several craniofacial surgical trips to Mexico (Thousand Smiles Foundation) and Vietnam (Open Heart Team) to perform cleft lip & palate surgeries. She continues to volunteer her time on both a local and global level to these countries and more recently to her native home of Fiji Islands with the Loloma Foundation.

Dr. Chandra is tremendously enthusiastic about her specialty. She enjoys practicing full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with special interests in obstructive sleep apnea, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma and head and neck pathology. She also enjoys traditional office based procedures including dental implants, exodontia and bone augmentation procedures for oral rehabilitation.

During her free time, you can find Dr. Chandra cycling on her road bike or running with her husband. She is also a huge fan of music and supports our local music scene here in southern California, frequently going to shows. She also plays the guitar and enjoys science fiction movies.

Dr. Lee Pham is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who has his roots in Southern Orange County. He grew up in Orange County and then graduated with honors in Psychobiology at UCLA. Afterward, Dr. Pham attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated cum laude. During this time he completed a masters degree in Oral Biology. His research into osteoblastic and cementoblastic stem cells and growth factors led to the completion of his masters thesis, several major publications, and numerous awards. During his studies, he dedicated his free time to humanitarian work by organizing community dental clinics and volunteering on missions to rural Nicaragua.

Dr. Pham then attended UCLA Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for residency, where he developed his scope of practice. His surgical training was based at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, the Kaiser Sunset Maxillofacial department, and the Harbor UCLA Medical Center. During his training, he had the opportunity of volunteering on numerous cleft surgical missions in Vietnam and Mexico. Dr. Pham also rotated with the prestigious Chang Gung Craniofacial Hospital in Taiwan.

During his surgical training he attended the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and received his medical degree. He subsequently completed a general surgery internship at the UCLA Ronald Reagan hospital. Dr. Pham now maintains both his dental and medical license in California. After his training, he further refined his surgical skill by practicing with a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery office, renown for corrective jaw surgery, facial reconstruction, and hospital-based oral surgery.

Dr. Lee Pham maintains privileges at the Childrens Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). He also volunteers his time as a member of the CHOC Craniofacial Team and helps lead the CHOC Corrective Jaw Surgery Team. He is volunteer faculty for the UCI Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery residency, and exposes their residents and the UCI medical students to the scope of Maxillofacial Surgery. His emphasis in practice is in orthognathic surgery, oral reconstruction with dental implants, and outpatient general anesthesia. He is committed to providing high quality surgical care, while being attentive to the needs and concerns of his patients, and providing the comfort they deserve to have.

Dr. Pham is an active member of CALAOMS by serving on committees and providing oral surgery for free medical clinics. He is also an active member of AAOMS, ADA, CDA, Harbor Dental Society, OCDS, the Academy of Osseointegration, and Mariners Church, Irvine. His greatest joy is being a dad, and spending as much time as he can with his daughter and his wife. His hobbies between family time include swimming, electric mountain biking, playing the piano, golfing, and surfing.

Dr. Poyourow is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He grew up in Santa Barbara and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara on a Regents Scholarship, graduating with honors with a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy.

Dr. Poyourow began his health care education at Columbia University in the City of New York, where he earned a Masters in Public Health. He returned home to southern California where he completed both dental and medical degrees at UCLA. Upon graduation from dental school with high honors, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society, which is granted to the top 10 students in the class.

Dr. Poyourow was selected into residency at UCLA. During his 6 year residency he completed an internship in General Surgery at UCLA, where he trained with world renowned surgeons in plastic and reconstructive surgery, otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, and transplant surgery, among others.

The foundation of his surgical training was the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, which is a tertiary referral center for patients from around the country and world. Dr. Poyourow rotated at Southern California Kaiser Permanente, which performs hundreds of orthognathic surgeries per year. Additionally, he was Chief Resident of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA, which is a high volume level 1 trauma center, treating the most complex facial injuries. Dr. Poyourow was fortunate to participate in many cleft lip/cleft palate mission trips to Ensenada, Mexico with the Thousand Smiles Foundation.

Dr. Poyourow enjoys practicing all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with special interests in orthognathic surgery, 3D treatment planning for facial reconstruction, dental implants, and outpatient general anesthesia. He enjoys collaborating with talented doctors in southern California to achieve the best possible results for patients.

Dr. Poyourow regularly lectures residents and dental students at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Orange County Dental Society.
