Alameda Dental is a Aurora based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
I was born and raised in Ukraine and that is where I began my love for dentistry, while watching my father practice. I attended the University of Poltava and graduated in 1992 with high honors. That year I began my successful practice, which I had for ten years until my move to the United States. I along with my family moved to the United States in 2002 and settled in New Jersey. While there I attended NYU College of Dentistry and received a degree in comprehensive aesthetic dentistry. Throughout this time my desire always remained the same, to start my own practice in the United States. That began with my familys move to Colorado where I attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine International Program and graduated in 2008 with a D.D.S. degree. I joined a successful practice in which I practiced in for the last several years. Alameda Dental is a dream come true. It is the culmination of all of my hard work and dedication to my career and patients that this office has become a reality.
Personally Im married to Viktor and together we have two daughters, Anna and Tatyana. Dr. Anna is happy to be practicing alongside me at Alameda Dental. Tatyana has graduated from CU Boulder and currently working. I am also a proud owner of a dog named Frankie. I enjoy yoga, snowshoeing, and hiking with my family in my spare time.
I would like for people to know that I am a caring dentist and I value having great relationships with all of my patients. I have a great ability to make patients feel at ease and comfortable and I hope I get the opportunity to show that to you. I am also fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
Dr. Anna Khmil was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States at the age of ten. It is in those beginning years in this country where her passion for dentistry began while watching her mother, Dr. Larisa Khmil become a dentist in this country. Dr. Anna later attended University of Miami in Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Healthcare Science and Business Administration and then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree. Even though Dr. Anna enjoyed Boston very much, she was thrilled to move back to her home state of Colorado and work alongside her mentor and mom.
Dr. Anna is a very detailed clinician and will take the time to sit with her patients to make sure that every detailed is explained and they feel comfortable with their procedures. She enjoys taking the time to get to know her patients and get updates on their lives.
I became a dentist because I love working with people and with my hands and I cannot wait to share that with you at Alameda Dental. It is important to me that every patient has a comfortable experience and I hope to win over your trust during out time together
Dr. Arthur Yagudaev is our board certified periodontist. Dr. Arthur graduated from Moscow State Medical University in 2005, then received his BA in Biology from Binghamtom University in New York. He later graduated from Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2013 where he was the class president and received the International College of Dentists Award. Following his DDS degree, he received his Certificate of Periodontics and Masters in Science at University of Colorado School of Dental medicine. He is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Periodontics and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Colorado University School of Dental Medicine teaching in Graduate and Undergraduate programs.
Dr. Yagudayev is a relaxed and calm person who wants to learn about his patients needs before treating them. He is patient and has exceptional chair side manner. He performs intricate procedures with the precision that many aspire to do. Dr. Arthur performs all periodontal procedures, including moderate conscious sedation, microsurgical periodontal surgeries, implant placement and implant troubleshooting, fiberotomy in conjunction with orthodontic treatment, frenectomies, and wilckodontics.
Dr. Farzim has over 15 years of experience providing high quality dental treatment to his patients. Dr. Farzim graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and completed his dental residency at Yale School of Medicine Hospital. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and Academy of General Dentistry and is affiliated faculty at University of Washington School of Dentistry.
In his free time he enjoys cooking and baking. His other hobbies include photography and playing guitar. He also spends time learning new languages in addition to the several he already speaks, and spending time with his family.

AWESOME place to go for dental needs! Everyone is nice and very helpful to help understand my dental dilemmas. Recommend this place to anyone. They even gave me a gold tooth magnet!

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. I looked at many places before ultimately choosing this place due to the raving reviews. Hannah, the hygienist was phenomenal. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Then I saw Dr. Anna Khmil, she was also so incredibly friendly and has the cutest puppy!

Have to say: My 1st visit here & so far AMAZINGGG!! Just relocated here from California & found this place on the internet. Soooo glad I did. The whole staff is Awesome!!! Dr.Anna, Kara & Kelly are So Nicee. They all took the time to go over my X-rays & paperwork. Can't wait to come back!! Alameda Dental is the place to be!! Thank you ladies for being Awesome!!!

I needed to find a dentist in the area so I chose to go to Alameda Dental because they have such good reviews. Everyone in the office was very nice, but I would be extremely wary of the "problems" they find with your teeth. After the exam on my first visit the number of cavities they said I had was alarming, and their treatment plan conveniently maxed out my insurance's coverage for the year. I went to 2 more dentists for a second opinion and without showing them Alameda Dental's treatment plan beforehand, both of them recommend half the work Alameda Dental did. Seemed like more than just a matter of difference in dental care philosophy between dentists.

We switched to Alameda Dental because we no longer wanted to continue going to our old dental office. Starting with the front office staff, they were pleasant and professional. The check-in process went very smooth. I feel the doctors at this practice really care about their patients and the quality of their work. They care about the whole patient experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this dental office to co-workers, friends, and other family members. I saw Dr. Anna Khmil for my initial visit, then Dr. Arthur Yagudaev to have a procedure done before I could have two crowns replaced, and then Dr. Larissa Khmil for the buildup and temporary crowns. All of them were wonderful! I love everything about this office, the front staff is so sweet and helpful and willing to answer questions, I've never had to wait more than 3 minutes to be taken back to get work started. They make sure you are super comfortable, I have had so many dental assistants around me and all were so kind and personable, and Dr. Khamil is so nice and you can tell she loves what she does and cares about her patients. they book far out which can be hard, but if you have a dental emergency they definitely see you right away. Going to the dentist has always been a stressful time, but coming to the Alameda Dental has really changed the experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone in the Denver area or new the the area!
