Dr. Austin T. Hoanwas born and raised in the Orlando area. He graduated from Lake Howell High School in Oviedo. Afterward, he worked on his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida and received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Florida. He received the Teledyne Prosthodontic Award and served as the part-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
Dr. Denisse A. Hoanwas born in Colombia. However, she moved as a child and considers Orlando her home now. She also graduated from Lake Howell High School in Oviedo. Lake Howell is where Dr.Austin and Dr. Denisse met each other. She received her bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine at the University of Florida. She has furthered her dental education through a general practice residency at the VA Hospital in Bay Pines, FL learning advanced techniques in all aspects of dentistry, including the placement and restoration of dental implants.
Tiffanie is originally from Illinois and moved to Orlando in 1988. She has been in the dental field for 28 years and was an oral surgery assistant for 11 years prior to getting her AS degree in Dental Hygiene.
Maria lives in Winter Springs. She has been a dental hygienist for 5 years. She enjoys spending time with family and going to the beach, swimming. She enjoys educating and working with people of all ages and being a part of improving and maintaining their oral health. She finds her work rewarding when patients with dental anxiety improve their confidence in the dental setting.
Jaqueline is originally from Bolivia and has lived in Rio de Janeiro, Medellin, and New York before moving to Florida. She currently lives in Winter Springs with her husband of 36 years. She has four kids and 4 grandchildren. She has been a dental assistant for 21 years. She finds dentistry rewarding especially when patients are able to overcome their dental fears. With time they are able to finish their treatment and become comfortable coming in for routine visits.
She is originally from Dominican Republic. Prior to moving to Florida she lived in New Jersey. She has 3 daughters and lives in East Orlando. She has been around dentistry for a long time since she has several family members in the dental field. She enjoys dancing, cooking and spending time with her family. She enjoys enhancing patients lives by improving their oral health.
She is a Florida native from Cape Coral. She has been working as a dental assistant for 10 year. She lives in Oviedo with her husband and three kids and an adorable Shi Tzu. One her free time she enjoys resting and watching movies. She enjoys connecting with patients and seeing their before and after treatment smiles.
She is a Florida native from West Palm Beach. She has been working in dentistry for 10 years. She has twins and on her time off she enjoys taking road trips and taking her kids on outdoor adventures. She enjoys dentistry because she feels she can make a positive impact in peoples lives by giving them something to smile about.
Diane is originally from Ohio, but has called Oviedo her home since the age of 15. She has been in dentistry 35 years. She has worked in real estate and retail She lives in the UCF area with her husband of 32 year. She has two girls. She enjoys being outdoors and going to the beach. She enjoys helping patients feel at ease and obtain their best smile possible.
Abby grew up in MA, and is a Patriots fan of course. She loves living in Florida. She has been in dentistry 6 years. Prior to working as a business assistant she was a dental assistant and holds her EFDA license. She is married and has a son. She enjoys being outdoors with family and friends. At work, she loves watching patients accomplish their goal of a healthy smile and how it positively impacts their lives.

The best dentist I've had the pleasure of being treated by. Everyone in the office is very nice. If you're experiencing pain when you call them, they are quick to accommodate you to get you treated as quickly as possible. Dr Austin and Denise are very knowledgeable and kind and also very thorough. I've had a lot of dental issues and they were able to take care of everything for me. If you live in the area, I highly recommend them. I'm moving to a different city and I'm certainly going to miss this office.

Dr Austin and his team are amazing! They exceeded my expectations. Most recently, my son broke his front tooth and Dr Austin replaced it with a crown. My son broke it again and it left a whole in his smile. We called to find out that the office was closed for the holidays and would not reopen until January 4th. I left a message on their emergency line requesting a return call. I received a call back from Dr Austin within 10 minutes; explained what took place and he said he wanted to see my son the next day, during the time his office was closed!!! We went in for the appointment and he took the time to make a temporary crown until the permanent crown arrived. Wasn't expecting such amazing service! I highly recommend Dr Austin and his team. They are excellent at what they do and provide stellar service. Thanks Dr Austin!

Great experience! Dr. Sanaz Nasseri is hands down the best dentist in the Orlando area. She is very professional, understanding, kind, and genuinely cares for her patients. She explains everything very well, which makes you feel comfortable with the treatment you are getting. So happy to have found such a wonderful dentist! The staff is friendly, cordial, and helpful, and scheduling an appointment is super easy. I highly recommend this dentist office.

Alafaya Dental Care has been our family's dentist since we moved here in 2007. Their level of care and customer service is unmatched. The office staff is friendly and courteous. My regular hygienist, Tiffany, provides fast, gentle, and thorough cleanings. Drs. Hoan (Mr. & Mrs) provide excellent, professional dental care (fillings, etc). I highly recommend them. July 2021 Update: Have had tooth extraction and 2 crowns done since the last review, as well as continued regular cleanings. They continue to maintain the highest level of care and customer service. Finally, Dr. Nasseri is fantastic! She is a great addition to their team!

Alafaya Dental Care has been our family's dentist since we moved here in 2007. Their level of care and customer service is unmatched. The office staff is friendly and courteous. Going to be honest, this year was the first time I've been back to the dentist in 20 years, lol. A friend referred me here and I'd say they were friendly and professional. When doing the Xrays, I thought I'd have to go to a separate room and have a machine rotate around my head.. but it's different now. Everything is more technologically advanced these days, lol Glad to say that I was cavity free surprisingly! Keep brushing and flossin y'all

Everyone here is very friendly. I had a great experience. They got me in right away as a new patient. Everything was explained to me clearly and clear expectation was set. This is the first time I can say I'm actually looking forward to coming back to the dentist. I'll be bringing my children here also.

I recommend this Dental office to anyone. I have been a patient with them for over 10years. They are wonderful, not only the office staff, but both Dentists as well. They are all very knowledgeable and kind. I didn't used to like even the thought of going to the dentist until I discovered Alafaya Dental. They are all awesome.

Absolutely awful! I had dental work done there and the dentist (the wife) who did my fillings picked a color that was not even close to the color of my teeth and did not build up a filling she did on my front tooth out far enough so it looks like a fake tooth. When I went back to give the other dentist (the husband) a chance to fix the mistake his wife made he wanted to re-charge me over $300 to fix his wife's mistake. I did not and do not have insurance and when I originally went there to have work done I spent thousands of dollars and then he had the nerve to try and recharge me. Unbelievable! DO NOT GO THERE!!!
