Dr. Patel is the founder of Alafaya Dental. He earned the Doctor of Dentistry(DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry and became licensed to practice dentistry in 1977. He moved from New York to Florida in 1997 and opened his first practice, Alafaya Dental in 2003. In 2006, he opened his second practiceSaxon Dental,in Orange City, Florida. He currently practices dentistry at both offices.
I have been working with Dr. Patel since 2006. I first started as a Dental Assistant and then took on the role as Office manager. I am the proud mother of two wonderful sons and I also have a beautiful grand daughter.

Had a wonderful visit with the dentist when I brought my little 4 year old in. She had a cleaning, and then another appointment to repair a chip on her front tooth. The dentist was absolutely wonderful. She was patient and kind, very understanding... She worked her magic on my little one! No novocaine was used for the repair, and she was so gentle and knowledgeable that there was no pain involved! The dental assistants that were absolutely wonderful! WONDERFUL!!! I highly recommend this office for pediatric dentistry. We had a wonderful visit on both occasions. They have a real gift with the little ones. A huge thank you to everyone involved!
