Dr. Michaelson was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1982 at Brandeis University. He then went on to study dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry and graduated in 1986. In his days since college, he has filled his life with building a family and dental practice. He has been married to his beautiful wife Christina, for 29 years. His two amazing daughters, Lauren and Rachel, are both very busy with their respective careers, families, and especially their new dogs.
In his free time, Dr. Michaelson enjoys spending time at the beach with his family. During college football season, he supports the Knights and Crimson Tide, although he is a diehard Gator. His hobbies include skiing, tennis, and traveling. Although he has lived in Central Florida for many years, he remains a loyal Boston fan. At least once a year, he visits his hometown and attends a Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, or Bruins game.
In the 25 years since the practice was established, Dr. Michaelson has dedicated himself to the art and science of dentistry. He prides himself on being able to offer his patients the most conservative, long-lasting, beautiful restorations that dentistry has to offer. He has spent thousands of hours in seminars, study clubs, and other continuing education courses to stay current on advances in his field and master the newest techniques. Everyone is very friendly. The dental hygienist is very thorough and very sweet. Dr. Michaelson is very gentle. Even the shot to numb the area is pretty much painless.

Arrived ahead of schedule appointment and was greeted by Deanna, my dental hygienist. She had my neck wrap already warmed up (one of my perks!). The annual x-rays went well and afterwards I got seen by Dr. Michaelson. My adult prophylaxis went really well and Deanna takes her time to make sure nothing is missed and practically pain free. My teeth are smooth and professionally cleaned. I been coming back to Dr. Michaelson practice for many years and had never had a bad experience. Also, Deanna is one of the best hygienist I ever known and she is a great compliment to Dr. Michaelson's staff.

Dr Michealson and his entire team are so knowlegable, warm, and caring. I always took great care of my teeth and for some reason there is always something going on. After I started seeing Dr Michealson, I feel like finally my teeth are in good hands. I trust him and his team with my eyes close. I believe that now not only I go there, but also my fiance and my future father in law too. Their exam is very thorough and every member of their office team do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. They even have warm blankets!! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

I have been going to Dr. Michaelson's office for over 15 years. What I value most is his honest and exceptional work. I even brought my sister from my home country to have some dental work done by Dr. Michaelson. Then, my sister went on vacation to Spain, and to our surprise, her friends in Barcelona also noticed and commented on how nice her teeth looked. So, he does great work.

I cannot stop smiling! Dr. Michaelson and his team elevated my smile and I have never felt more confident. My friends and family have always complimented me on my smile. Now they are speechless at the flawless new look. My new veneers look and feel as if I grew them myself! Dr. Michaelson and his entire staff are so kind and warm. I always felt my dental care was their top concern and every consideration was made to make me feel comfortable. Each visit became more like I was visiting friends rather than a doctor's office. The quality of work is A+ but the personal touch is unmatched.

I was nervous about going to the dentist for the first time in what felt like 10 years, but the staff here was fine and made me feel comfortable enough with everything that we were doing. The office is inviting. Note that they don't accept insurance. At least they didn't when I visited in 2017.

Had pretty extensive cosmetic and veneer work done years after a jet ski accident. Couldn't be happier with the results and absolutely thrilled with the staff from start to finish. This was well over 5 years ago and the procedures have absolutely stood the test of time. Writing this review now as I had a friend ask for a referral after having a job botched at another office, so here we are! Still happy and referring people years later if that says anything! Thank you Dr and all of the wonderful staff.
