The best Doctor,He and his team are very professional they helped us at all times,they always explained everything to us and the best thing,The doctor speak Spanish it was definitely worth traveling 3 hours to see Dr Baxter!!

I cannot speak highly enough about this experience. The doctor was not only knowledgeable and professional but he was also compassionate and easy to talk to. He asked if he could pray before the procedure and did so with the most sincere prayer that warmed my heart. He even called afterward on his personal cell phone to check on my son. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know who has a child with speech issues like mine.

Dr. Baxter and his team have been wonderful. They listened to my concerns about my son when others were only concerned with his weight. I loved that he prayed with us before the procedure. I highly recommend if you have concerns you reach out for an evaluation.

My experience at Alabama Tongue Tie Center was better than I could have hoped! They treated me with so much kindness, especially when I was in the office. Dr. Baxter was super professional, but also made me feel safe and like I was in very capable hands. He did an excellent job on my frenectomy and his staff were so cheerful and kind. I would highly recommend visiting Alabama Tongue Tie Center. They really know what they are doing.

Our newborn had a tongue and lip tie. I was terrified as a first time mom, but Dr. Baxter was amazing, and we had a wonderful experience! He was so good with our baby and even got him to stop crying immediately and calm him! He prayed a precious prayer before taking him back for the procedure, and it meant so much to my husband and me. He took his time with us and explained everything so well. He has amazing reviews by so many for a reason! If you are contemplating whether or not you should see Dr. Baxter, know your child will be in the best hands by someone who cares and has also done extensive research! Thank you, Dr. Baxter, for taking care of our baby! We appreciate you so much.

Dr Baxter and his team were absolutely wonderful. He treated my 10 day old for both lip and tongue tie. We were in and out in less than an hour and are so glad we made the choice to travel to them. We love 4 hours from Dr Baxter and would gladly make the trip again. Their care and compassion was exemplary! Thank you to Dr Baxter and his team!

I suspected a lip and possible tongue tie with my 10 month old and was brushed off by local pediatricians and lactation consultants. I did a lot of research and wanted someone well educated on the topic. Luckily the Alabama Tongue Tie Center was an hour and a half away from us. I filled out their online quiz for symptoms of a tongue tie, and took the leap. Prior to making an appointment Savannah and Dr.Baxter answered all the questions and concerns I had. They even explained everything very well and made it easy to understand. We booked an appointment. There was not a long wait time, our experience we waited 2 minutes the second visit and none at our first. Dr. Baxter offers consultations and then completes the procedure if it's needed, THE SAME DAY. He showed us pictures of our baby's ties, prayed with us before the procedure, and allowed me to sit with them in the procedure room. They numbed baby with an oral cream, swaddled him and the procedure lasted no more than 45 seconds and Dr.Baxter showed me how to do the follow up stretches. Stretches are Done 4xday for 3-4weeks depending on your follow up. No clipping, no blood, and no anesthesia. Later in the day Dr.Baxter called to check in on how we were doing and to answer any questions we had... we're truly blessed to have found this place. It could not have been a better experience for us.

Dr. Baxter did my daughters lip and tongue tie today and I highly recommend him and his office to any parent looking for the best doctor for their baby for these procedures! The entire experience from the first phone call to the actual procedure was great. The office staff is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and caring. Dr. Baxter is a phenomenal doctor that takes time to educate parents and answer any questions you may have. We never once felt rushed or ignored. The most meaningful part of the whole experience for us was when he prayed with us before he took our daughter for the procedure. I will tell anyone who suspects their child may have a tie to go see Dr. Baxter.

Such a wonderful experience for myself and my 5 week old. Dr. Baxter prayed with us before taking him back and had him back to us in less than 5 minutes. He called later to check on how baby was doing!

We were referred by my sons speech teacher. I reviewed the information on the website and took the helpful quiz. Dr. Baxter and all the staff were amazing start to finish. They go over symptoms and problems the patient is experiencing and really make sure you understand the procedures and aftercare. We had both lip and tongue-tie released. I'm so thankful for the recommendation and all the information I've already learned and we are hopeful this improves many areas of frustration for my toddler! Thank you!

Dr. Baxter was amazing! He thoroughly explained the procedure before ever taking our baby back. He also called after hours to check in and make sure everything was going okay with baby. Another thing that just blew my husband and I away was that he prayed with us before the procedure. You can tell he genuinely cares about the patient and parents. Highly recommend.

My daughter is 3 months old. She had a tongue and lip tie as well as a buccal tie in her cheeks. Dr. Baxter thoroughly explained the procedure to us and prayed with us before hand. It was a quick procedure and immediately afterwards I noticed a difference in my daughter's latch. The staff was so sweet and helpful leading up to the appointment and while we were in their care. I am so glad we made the choice to see Dr. Baxter!

Dr. Baxter made sure I was very informed before making the decisions for a lip/tongue tie release for my child! I was super at peace through the entire situation as he talked me through every step, prayed over the procedure, & even called me to check on Beckham after work hours.

Both of my children (1 and 3 years old) were recommended by their dentist to be evaluated for lip and tongue releases. She recommended we visit Dr. Baxter. Though it was a bit of a drive for us (about 3 hours), it was well worth it! Dr. Baxter and his team were INCREDIBLE! Both boys had their lip and tongue ties released the same day by Dr. Baxter. There was no sedation (just numbing gel), and the procedure plus stretches took less than 30 seconds. Dr. Baxter and his team were so kind and patient, and we have seen such improvement in my 3 year old's vocabulary and his interest in mimicking speech.

From start to finish we had an excellent experience at the Alabama Tongue Tie Center. We were able to get in for an appointment quickly, the staff was very knowledgeable and understanding, and Dr. Baxter was a pleasure to meet with. Dr. Baxter took his time meeting with us, assessing our child, and releasing her oral ties all in one visit. Dr. Baxter's book was an informative read which I recommend to anyone preparing themselves or their child for this procedure. The information from his book has changed my views on oral ties as a parent and as a Speech Language Pathologist. Thank you to Dr. Baxter and his staff for helping our family and improving the quality of life for our child.

From the moment I walked in the door, my experience was amazing. The staff was kind, ask questions and helped get us where we needed to be. They were extremely informative and answered ALL our questions. They ask us several times if we felt comfortable and if we had thought of any other questions. Dr. Baxter was beyond amazing. His demeanor was soft and kind, yet clearly he was knowledgable and you could tell he took pride in his work as a physician. After an extensive conversation and asking questions, he ask if he could pray over my child before we started the procedure. Whether you are a praying person or not, him asking was incredibly kind and helped me further realize that every patient in his practice was getting all of his attention. I have never experienced such patience, kindness and support from any office that myself or my children have ever attended. I would recommend Dr. Baxter and Alabama Tongue-Tie Center to ANYONE. This experience, office and staff gets a 12/10 in my book.
