I was here almost a month ago which was my 2nd visit in 2 years. I mind the readers I am a physician from a different country. I was here to fix my seperated crown during my visit. The crown was a perfect fit before it got seperated (got the crown from a different dentist). Once fit he had to adjust the alignment for which he had to drill the crown a bit. But the sad part is he drilled my healthy normal tooth which aligns with the crown without warning/informing me about that. Apart from that, there is a huge gap between the crown and the adjacent tooth that food gets trapped and I need to floss every time I eat. I did not have the gap previously. Now about my previous visit, his gum health assessment, poking my pockets, was horrible and painful. Please mind that I have very high pain tolerance. He suggested I get the tooth out right away. I am in my early 30s and I would not have suggested something like that to my patients given their age especially without an infection. I had to go toUAB dentistry who did say there is a problem and it can be fixed with deep cleaning. 2 years down the lane, dental hygienists (from this same clinic as well UAB) said I had clean teeth and nothing else needs to be done. I gave the dentist a benefit of doubt as we belong to the same professional community and also assuming it could be just another bad day for him. But apparently this is how people frequently feel. If I took 2 years to post a review, others without access to Google maps might not express anything at all. I understand this clinic serves economically disadvantaged population more often, and this does not give him the OK to treat people with less compassion. Once a healthcare professional you remain so irrespective of who you are treating. I am a graduate student currently and hence cannot afford better service. But why should that matter is my question. The rest of the staff is very pleasant.

They were very thorough with my husband. They will only let the patient go in due to Covid precautions. In and put no long waits. Staff was very friendly.

So I understand they don't give medicine, but they seriously can't give anything to even numb a kid? My 4 year old went in for her first ever feeling. She is already scared of going to the dentist. They did absolutely nothing to numb her. Held her down and were very rough with her while she was kicking and screaming and so scared. They even cut her lip with the drill. Don't go here unless you have no choice!

Terrible experience. They pulled a tooth that was infected; my face swell up and the next day he sent me to the school of dental (uab) Don't use. My mouth was swellen for three days and UAB said Everytime he messes up he send his patients to them. Worst experience ever.

Great little clinic but I would definitely recommend appointments after 1st visit. All the employees are top shelf and very sympathetic. Parking can be a bit dodgy but doable.

The doctor had horrible bedside manner, rude verbally and when I was forced to go to another dentist after unmanaged pain at home. The next dentist saw were I was botched. After a corrective oral surgery it was suggested that I report him to the dental board for gross negligence and breaking healthy teeth.

Didn't know exactly what to expect but this little clinic is outstanding. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of Dental Services. Dr. Williams was totally upfront with me about what was need and what it would cost. That Clinic is needed and necessary for the Birmingham community and the assistance it gives to those of lesser financial means. Thank you Dr. Williams and staff!! Keep up the good work!!

Dr Dwight Williams berates and verbally abuses patients who are still in pain after an extraction process. He said "stop being a baby!" after a patient described their pain being at a 9 out of 10 after the procedure. I do not recommend this place and will be reporting this doctor for the absolute most unprofessional tactics in terms of patient care. If you come here you will be berated and humiliated.
