Dr. McCracken currently serves as a Professor at The University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He received his dental degree from The University of North Carolina and completed a prosthodontic residency at The University of Alabama Birmingham. Also, he earned a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering for research related to growth factors and healing of implants in compromised hosts. His past roles with the University include serving as Director of Pre- Doctoral Implant Education, Director of Graduate Prosthodontics and Director of the UAB Implant Training Program. Dr. McCracken lectures Nationally and Internationally on topics relating to implant dentistry and the restoration of complex dental patients. He is known for his ability to explain difficult concepts in a practical way, and for a realistic approach toward continuing education. He lectures in an entertaining and relaxed manner, and makes the topics useful and real.
Dr. Guy Rosenstiel is a graduate of the UAB School of Dentistry, and completed a residency in general dentistry at the Birmingham Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Rosenstiel has a passion for continuing education. He has completed coursework in dental anesthesiology, dental implants, endodontics, and CAD/CAM restorations. He earned a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. Dr. Rosenstiel has built a successful private practice with a strong emphasis on dental implants. He brings a wealth of practical experience with him to this course, including insight on how to implement dental implants into a private practice setting, and how to manage the business aspects of implant dentistry. He has served as President of the Alabama Academy of General Dentistry, and teaches part-time at the UAB School of Dentistry. Dr. Rosenstiel is active as a faculty member in the LMC sponsored AEGD program at the Foundry Dental Center, where he also teaches IV sedation.
Dr. Ouellette is a dedicated, motivated, adaptable and highly responsible dentist seeking an associate position in private practice which will utilize his surgical skill and patient care developed through his advanced training in surgical implant dentistry and IV conscious sedation training. Also, he is a general dentist at The Den- tal Specialists (2013-Present), the chief resident at the Foundry Dental Center in Bessemer, AL where he works with Dr. McCracken. He is currently a resident at The University of Florida AEGD (2011-2013)
Dr. Miller is a graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry, and a director of the VDA MOM Denture team. In a thriving clinical practice in Southwest Virginia, he has developed extensive experience with implant restorations, AvaDent Dentures, Benchmark Dentures and the full-arch implant restorations. Dr. Miller enjoys lecturing on various topics in dentistry but not as much as his love for the outdoors. When not holding a denture or an implant torque wrench he can be found with either a rod, gun or bow in his hand.
Dr. Alouf maintains an active clinical practice in Roanoke, VA. He is a fellow in the ICOI, where he has earned a Mastership in implant prosthodontics, as well as a member of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics. He is the Director of Operations for Benchmark Dentures, and actively involved in denture outreach programs. He serves as an active faulty member at the Appalachian Highlands Community Dental Center, an AEGD training site in Abingdon, Virginia.

If you are looking for someone that has a passion for teaching and engaging his colleagues about dental implantology, etc then this is the experience for you. Dr McCracken is a stand out guy.

Excellent, well managed, and highly informative course. Dr. McCracken, Dr. Ouellette, and Dr. Rosenstiel were all very good at making basic implant dentistry very understandable and accessible to the clinician who is looking to start placing implants in their practice. The hands-on experience at The Foundry Dental Center was very well executed and a the surgeries gave me the confidence to go home and start placing implants.

It was a great introductory course on implants. The lecturer was great. They might have spent a little too much time on full arch cases (which I likely won't be doing to begin with) and not quite enough on single units. Would love to learn more on interpreting and using a conebeam and the software to plan out implant placement. Would have been beneficial to walk through a few cases to help us determine when it was appropriate to do an implant and when it wasn't.

Great learning experience, got to do surgeries and place implants. I learned a lot of tips on dealing with any complications that pop up and how to work around them. The doctors and all of the residents were super helpful every step of the way. I'd recommend this course to anyone wanting to get into implants, or improving the scope of their skills

This was the most helpful hands-on course I have had the privilege to attend. There were numerous opportunities to learn procedures with various surgeries performed after breakout sessions. We were encouraged to view live procedures that were still being performed after we had finished our own cases which allowed for a more comprehensive experience.

I can't recommend AIE enough! The love patient experience beats any other. The knowledge and hands on training you will get will help you dive head first into implementing implant services in your office. Dr. McCracken gives you everything you need to feel comfortable and treat your patients with confidence. I will be returning soon for more training from AIE!

The AIE didactic portion in Atlanta was amazing! The AIE education team, AIE marketing team, and BioHorizons representatives went out of their way to make everyone feel special and involved. I have been placing implants for four years, but came away with so many pearls this weekend that will take my skills to a better level. I cannot wait for the clinical portion. I can tell it will be an amazing learning environment in which everyone will feel encouraged to succeed.

The lecture portion of AIE was very thorough. There was detailed information on implant placement and suturing. There was also good info on bone grafting and implant prosthetics. Looking forward to the surgical session in a month.

I had an amazing experience with the CE course for the implant course! I have learned immensely about the process of implants and I LOVED the hands on experience! Would highly recommended this course to any dentist that would love to place implants!

Firstly, the organization of the course is second to none. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and give you are always available help if you become uncomfortable with a situation. After this course I feel comfortable going out and treatment planning and placing implants.

Awesome time learning about implants and placing implants on live patients. Had varied implant experiences with varied difficulties on patients with and without IV sedation. Placed four implants over the course of three days.
