Dr. Christopher Chow Dr. Christopher Chow was born and raised here in Honolulu, an alumnus of Punahou School. He left Hawaii to attend the University of Southern California, where he received his bachelors degree in both Biology and Dental Hygiene. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Indiana University. He has been practicing dentistry since 2005 and loves creating relationships with his patients. Dr. Chow is a member of the Hawaii Dental Association and Pacific Dental. When he is not in the office, he is spending time with his wife, Leina, and their two daughters, Kailee and Aubrey. You can also find him surfing and diving around Oahu.
Dr. Dennis Nagata was born and raised in Honolulu. He is a graduate of Iolani School. He was inspired to pursue dentistry by his mother Nancy who worked with the military at Schofield Barracks Dental clinic as a dental assistant. Dr. Nagata received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1979.
Dr. Nagata founded the Hawaii Center for Cosmetic and Laser dentistry in 1979. Dr. Nagata was a former clinical instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies where he helped dentists learn advanced and specialized techniques to help patients in need of complex treatment. He continues to lecture and present cases and participates in numerous post graduate programs.
Dr. Nagata is a general & cosmetic dentist who has over 40 years of experience in his field. He is currently serving patients dental needs at Landmark Dental Group in Honolulu, Hawaii. Established in 1980, Landmark Dental Group offers numerous dental services, including biocompatible dentistry, general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, TMJ treatment, and sleep apnea. Our dental team is committed to excellent oral health for our patients. We offer comprehensive dental care and brilliant cosmetic dentistry to Honolulu, Hawaii and the surrounding areas. Our facility is large, with 12 operatory rooms and a big waiting area, kept clean and fresh for your convenience and comfort. We do all that we can to keep you comfortable and relaxed at every stage of care, and we strive to engage with our patients on a personal level to meet your oral health needs as stated on the dental practices website.
Dr. Nagata specializes in Comprehensive Cosmetic Dentistry, TMJ problems, Implantology and Sleep Dentistry. Dr. Nagata also is a Premier Provider for Invisalign Clear Aligners. Dr. Nagata has served as a Clinical Instructor at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Nagatas expertise and dedication combine artistry and technology to give his patients a Smile that exudes Confidence , Beauty and Well-Being. Dr. Nagata is also deeply involved with Sleep Dentistry and is trained and certified to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea using Oral Appliances and Nightlase Snoring Reduction therapy.
In 2018 Dr. Nagata was honored to be inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy. The Pierre Fauchard Academy recognizes dentists who uphold the highest standards of professionalism in dentistry and provide excellence in all phases of dentistry for patients and continue to mentor other dentists to strive for excellence in the dental profession.
Dr. Nagata is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry American Dental Association (Life Member), Hawaii Dental Association, American Academy for Oral-Systemic Health, International Association of Orthodontics, American Academy of Cosmetic Orthodontics, Hawaii Board of Dentistry, The Commission of Dental Competency Assessment, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Gary H. Morikawa Dr. Gary Morikawa is a local and was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and the University of Hawaii before attending the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. Here, he completed his doctorate in dental science in 1987. His goal as a dentist today is to provide the best possible care for patients and share his knowledge of dentistry.
Dr. Kentaro Matsumoto was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and graduated in 2002 from Showa Dental School in Tokyo. After working as a dentist in Japan, he moved to Hawaii to achieve his goals of obtaining a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and an American DDS degree. In 2009, he graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a MBA. In 2015, he graduated from theUniversity of Southern California where he completed the Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists (DDS). Dr. Matsumoto is one of the few dentists in Hawaii who has obtained the dental license in both Japan and the U.S.

I enjoyed the care and treatment provided by Neil while getting my teeth cleaned after a long while of not vising a dentist. I was also placed at ease when Keiko checked one of my bruised front tooth caused by a bicycle accident. I also had fun making Neil laugh. It is very rare to find dental practitioners with a good sense of humor. I felt really comfortable and at ease while being treated.

It had been about 4 yrs since my last check up and I needed to find a new dentist. I have insurance, but the HMO dentists weren't going to see me for close to a month and that was only for an initial exam. I got on LivingSocial and Groupon, they often have deals on exams and cleanings, and Ala Moana Dental Group with Dr. Chow was featured. I called them up, scheduled an appointment, and bought the deal. Here's the thing though, I don't know why they're putting themselves on LivingSocial; they do a great job! It may be the hard-to-find location, 7th floor above the Bank of Hawaii at Ala Moana, but everything else is top notch. They have a friendly staff, a nice office, nice equipment, and even televisions to watch while you're getting your work done. So, if you're wondering whether to give them a shot, like I was, then wonder no more and just do it! I think you be just as pleasantly surprised as I was.
