My name is Nancy Galvet, I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for twenty seven years, a total of thirty four years of experience in the dental field. I obtained my Dental Hygiene Degree at New York City College of Technology. I also have a degree in nutrition.
My name is Kattia Blanco. I am a mother, wife and proud Registered Dental Hygienist. I graduated from Hostos Community College, where I currently tutor my future colleagues. I choose a career in dental hygiene to promote oral and overall health which go hand in hand. Our mouth is a reflection of the state of health the body is in.
Patient focused care is what I strive to do. I believe that each patient should be treated with the utmost respect, quality and dedication. My goal is to help you prevent future diseases and educate you on the importance of good oral habits for a better and healthier life.
My plans for the near future are to continuously learn and work hard. I would like to return to school in the spring of 2018, to continue mu studies and earn my bachelors degree. I believe that improving my life will enable me to better the lives of those I care for. My family is everything to me. They are and always will be my strength and the engine that keeps me going everyday.
I am currently Head of Crown & Bridge Department , and attending at Jamaica Hospital. I am very active in the Queens County Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry. I am a member of the American Dental Association and The New York State Dental Association
We are proud to offer metal-free crowns in one office visit with our state of the art Cerec machine. Implants are place and then restored with Cerec crowns. Our porcelain veneers are custom-made, hand-crafted and oven fired for exquisite esthetics.
I have twenty one years of experience as a dental assistant. I have been with Dr. Gulum since 2005. I have my Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Queens Borough Community College. I also attended St. Gerard Community College in Georgia and obtained my LPN license.
I graduated from New York School of Medical and Dental Assisting in 2003. I graduated top of my class with honors. I have been doing dental assisting for sixteen years. When I obtained my first job as a dental assistant I knew that this is what I wanted to do. I love the contact I have with patients, and I love working with children.

Al Gulum is the best dentist I've ever had! He's extremely intelligent and talented at his job. He removed my tooth and I didn't feel any pain during the producer or after. He's amazing and I recommend to everyone. I will not be going to any other dentist again. You're in good hands with Doctor Gulum.

Extremely professional. Courteous and friendly atmosphere. Let's face it. No One likes going to the dentist. Dr. Gulum and his staff will do all they can to make you as comfortable as possible. Be assured you are in good hands there. Coming from over 30 years of my whole family experience.

I found Dr. Gulum while searching for a dentist closer to home. He was very attentive and thorough during my visit. He explains everything and answers all your questions. I usually hate going to the dentist, but this was such a pleasant experience that I'm not going to skip my 6 month follow as I usually do! His staff, from receptionist to hygienist, were extremely professional and nice. Definitely recommend!

Had bad toothache - Dr. Gulum made time to see me; Was a bit hesitant due to the COVID - But I must say - Once I got to his office, I felt really comfortable in the office; Not only was it spotless, but the staff continually cleaned all areas and that really put me at ease during this time; Great job Dr Al and his wonderful staff!!
