This place is a joke. Not sure what they do here. Need a procedure and was referred somewhere else unless i wanted extracted. Came back as walk in and was told I have to schedule for extraction. When I got to the appt i had to wait over an hour to be seen. When i finally seen i was referred somewhere else to have pulled. Don't waist your time because they sure waisted mine playing games. So unprofessional. Im feeling as though he only wants to do certain procedures make a quick buck. Leave this place alone. Find another place to patronize. Your welcome.

Love this place. Been coming here for over 5 years and not one complain. Everyone's sweet and a respectable wait time (To the other people complaining in the reviews about waiting it's a Dentist Office with a million other people coming in and out like your gonna have to wait.)

They will suggest that you have teeth extracted when there are other options in place because they make more money ripping teeth out of your mouth it's easier/quicker but not always necessary.. I had three teeth extracted the little girl was not strong enough to pull any of them so she just broke them and picked out the pieces and doing so one of the teeth she did not get the roots that are clear up in my sinuses because it was not pulled it was just broken out.. I was in there two years before that a little bit over and they told me I had zero cavities I come back and they tell me they need to pull three teeth I need two crowns($900) and two fillings.. I told them I had been working a lot and in the process of starting my own company and so I hadn't had the time to come in so I was trying to get everything up to par they heard that and all of the sudden they want $900 it has been 8 days and I am in the most pain still that I have ever been in my life. They gave me 20 ibuprofen I have to take one every 4 hours you would think they would have at least given me more ibuprofen or some refills to the prescription not near enough 7 days x 3 ibuprofen a day=21..that's when you have to ask yourself if the situation was reversed what would that dentist have done to her own mouth and I guarantee it wouldn't have been what she did to my mouth.. now I'm sure they would have written me a narcotic but I told them I did not want any narcotics so in doing so you would think they would have increased the amount of ibuprofen but nope

My appointment was supposed to be 6 months ago. I was called and told that because the dentist wasn't in that day it needed to be rescheduled. The soonest they had available was the end of September. I came at my schedule time and waited two hours in the waiting area. Then it took one hour for a cleaning and X-ray. I shouldn't have to take four hours off work just to have my teeth cleaned. This is how it's been every time I've come. Also, I've seen a new dentist each time I get a cleaning. The only consistency at this office is the long wait time. I plan to switch dental offices.

They ok when it comes to needing a dentist appointment walkins are always welcome u mayb waiting an hour or so but it's worth it u will get ur dental work done same day.

I have a horrible fear of the dentist to where I haven't gone to one in over 10 years. My teeth recently got so bad that I couldn't handle the pain anymore I had to go. I had multiple people recommended Akron Family Dental to me so I decided to give it a chance. I was beyond pleased with my experience. Everyone there was beyond sweet. I told them how scared I was and they did everything to help me feel comfortable. They made my experience so pleasant and easy. I would highly recommend this.

Been going here for a few years now. I always have a cleaning every six months that is scheduled in advanced. A few times now I have had to reschedule my cleaning due to there not being a hygienist there that day. They call you only a few days in advance to let you know to reschedule. What a shame I won't be coming here anymore. It's a little out of the way, but the staff are really nice and kind. I just hate the scheduling and it seems unorganized to me. It's a huge red flag to me, so I have to go somewhere else for my dental needs now. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this has happened too many times.

I've been going here for years. The Dr.s the staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. Honestly, the best experience at a dentist office I've ever had.

Very nice people working there, very professional. Started as a walk in and came back for extractions which was the easiest and most pain free extraction I have ever had. Sometimes the wait is a little long but well worth it

I like the speed and ease in which I was registered and processed in. The X-Ray Tech was particularly engaging and gave an excellent tutorial on the purpose and function of the equipment as well as upgrades to the technology now in use that makes targeting teeth problem areas a pain and discomfort-free experience.

I called to see if they took walk-ins because I have an abscess tooth, right? First and foremost, if you're gonna answer the phone, be professional! Don't get an attitude with someone because we (the patient/customer) needs information. And when I was about to ask another question, I hear a grunt and get hung up on. Idk who that person was, but they need some manners. This ain't the job for you if you're gonna cop an attitude, sweetie

I am a grown woman but if you would see how ridiculous lI am at the dentist you would think I was a child, the Dr's made me feel amazing, well as amazing as they could.What I mean is they helped me get over my fears and didn't get frustrated or irritated with me,they really tried to lower my anxiety level and make me feel as comfortable as possible without allowing me to fluster them by breaking my tooth.Thank you guys so very much I'll be back as much as it takes to get these teeth together and I will recommend them to everyone.Thank you again Akron Family Dentist...

I would definitely not recommend. Called to ask a few questions about a receding gum line and the lady on the phone was snobby and only recommended a type of toothpaste. People like me who cant afford insurance have to suffer because of dentist offices like this one. Horrible experience just over the phone smh
