I'm very disappointed with the service I received at my last appointment in October 2021. I had an annual exam and cleaning and was told that they would apply for a prior approval for a custom mouth guard for my TMJ. I never heard back from the office and left several messages to get the status. I don't agree that a patient would have to follow through so closely on the administrative side of services. It was months and several calls to finally get a conversation with someone in April 2022 to get more information (six months later)! No one in the office seemed to have any idea on the status of my case. I was given several conflicting responses and answers. They went from saying they didn't accept my insurance which if that was the case we would have already determined that but I had already been a patient for a year and was seen under the same insurance. Ultimately, the entire situation became a mess and I feel strongly discriminated by the type of insurance I had because it was provided by the state before my commercial work insurance of BCBS would go into affect. I'm very disappointed and feel I need to transfer to another dentist in Manhattan for a better and more efficient experience and service. I hope this review helps others and the office in improving their overall operations.

Dr. Hemali Ajmera is excellent in her field. Not only did she straighten up my teeth, and did a great job with an implant, but she also took away my headaches with Botox! Yes, Botox.., I was unaware that my headaches were the cause of me putting pressure on my teeth at night, and that Botox relieved the pressure. Dr. Ajmera was on point. No more headaches!! I Will go for a touch up in a couple of months. Thank you Dr.!

I was screamed at and embarrassed by the female doctor when all i was asking was how much longer was the wait. She is the most unprofessional person i have ever met. Had me waiting for over an hr. I highly Do Not recommend going to this place. On top of the place being over crowded and filthy place. They should have this place checked for sanitation.

I agree with the other review, this doctor's game would like to have prepaid services and charged your card right away. The office is dirty, the ceiling, disorganized as well. I won't coming back and won't recommend the office. This requires major overhaul improvement, physically and professionally.

Woodside location: THIEVES! In November 2020, I prepaid $225 for a bleaching. I cancelled the bleaching, after Hemali Ajmera cracked the porcelain of my crown during a cleaning. It is now January 27, 2021 & they still have not refunded the $225. I filed a dispute w/credit card company who reversed the charges due to Dina providing a receipt without an explanation; and/or not informing the credit card company it was a prepayment for services not rendered. Dina had the nerve to tell me "there must be some misunderstanding with the credit card company." I've had multiple conversations w/Dina & her husband, sent multiple emails & texts with promises by them to refund my money & they haven't! I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 3 days ago! THIEVES! I want my money! STAY FAR AWAY!!! Hemali Ajmera chipped the porcelain on a crown, while cleaning my teeth. Fortunately, I had pictures of the tooth pre-cleaning. I did not get a response to my emails until after I called the Manhattan location (where she has not been for a few months) to complain about the damage she did to my crown. Hemali Ajmera lacks integrity! During the cleaning, when I stated I needed to spit, Hemali stated "no, wait." Hemali is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and INSENSITIVE to patient care. The office is dirty, old equipment. As you look up at the ceiling, while laying on exam chairs that are not protected with PPE (for COVID-19 purposes), you can see dirt around the air vents. As I sat sit in the very small dark & dank waiting room where there is no social distancing (for COVID-19 purposes), I left the waiting room door open so the dead air could circulate). STAY FAR AWAY!

Zero star 'doctor' who lacks integrity Dr. Ajmera is one of those 'practitioners' who gives doctors a bad name. She runs her office worse than a puppy mill, with no consideration for her patients or tact in how she speaks to them, and absolutely no intention of actually treating the issues they come in for but instead pushes expensive procedures on them which she is not qualified to properly perform. This all coming from her 'higher than thou' narcissistic throne she sits on. I also pay close attention to the dynamics of an office and how doctors treat their employees. The employees here who aren't her family actually cower from her. I have been waiting on my x-rays for months now which she likely has not authorized her office to send through. I will be putting in a report with the dental board. Avoid this place at all costs. If you are uninsured (as many New Yorkers and others are), take care of your teeth naturally, from the inside out. Google has free information which can help.

Whatever you do please do not go to this clinic. Hemali Ajmera is an extremely rude and obnoxious doctor who does not care for her patients. She is disrespectful and not good at her job, anywhere including 3rd world countries provide better service than her.

Whatever you do please do not go to this clinic. Hemali Ajmera is an extremely rude and obnoxious doctor who does not care for her patients. She is disrespectful and not good at her job, anywhere including 3rd world countries provide better service than her.

I highly recommend Dr. Hemali. She's been my dentist for over 2 years and I found best dentist in NYC. For me visiting her welcoming office is always grate experience most importantly Dr. Hemali is friendly and her staff is very helpful too.

I went here twice for cleaning. They are really kind and friendly, but the mother and son before me last time told me they waited over an hour because simply the dentist didn't come to work. And he actually showed up with cold/flu. Kept talking and rubbed his runny nose while he was treating me. I should have ran out of the door, but unfortunately stayed to get that flu. It's really unprofessional on many levels. I understand humanly, he came late maybe bc he was sick and all. But srsly how they handled the situation was so bad and gross.

I highly recommend Dr. Hemali. She's been my dentist for over 2 years and I found best dentist in NYC. For me visiting her welcoming office is always grate experience most importantly Dr. Hemali is friendly and her staff is very helpful too.
