Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and DDS degrees from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and is also a graduate of UCLAs General Practice Residency program. She is a former Assistant Professor at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in the department of Dental Hygiene, and at UCSF School of Dentistry predoctoral Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences.
Dr. Morita earned national academic honors from OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society) and was recognized by faculty awarded with the Academy of Osseointegration award for outstanding achievement in implant dentistry. She was also the recipient of the Professionalism award in her undergraduate dental hygiene class, which goes to the student which embodies highest ethical and professional standards. She achieved high academic standards being recognized on the Deans List Honor Roll in all years of both her undergraduate and graduate education in the dental field.
Dr. Adam Kennedy attended Loyola University Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduatingMagna Cum Laude. He then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine for his DMD.

She loves helping and caring for people and seeing the happy, smiling faces that come through the office daily. Working with dedicated people with a like-minded cause ofassisting people to achieve an optimal and beautiful smile is one of her favorite things.
When not working, shespends time with her family and friends. She works with her husband and two sons on their project car ('89 5.0 Mustang convertible). Tanya loves to travel and will take any opportunity to go on an adventure! She also knits and does many different types of crafts. Finally, she spoils her family pets (one dog, two cats, and a bearded dragon).
When not working, she can be found enjoying the great outdoors by hiking, jogging, biking, and gardening. She also loves baking cakes and cookies, refurbishing antique furniture, and spending time with her lovely daughter.
She has lived in Washington State her whole life. Currently, she lives in Bellevue, where she and her husband raised their two sons. Outside of the dental office, she enjoys going to concerts and the theater, as well as playing the piano, working in her garden, and beading!

I always feel so well cared for and about by every single staff member, whether it's the receptionist, hygenist, or the dentist. They're excellent with what they do and also very personable. Today Holly did a great job cleaning my teeth and explaining some things I did not understand about my gum health. I met the new dentist, Dr. Kim Morita, and she took time to establish rapport and discuss dental health with me. Very happy!

I had a chipped tooth with a sharp edge and sent an e-mail last night to Dr. Kimi. She responded immediately and I am now all fixed up. This past year I had many "challenges" with my teeth and am incredibly grateful for Morita Dentistry. They are THE BEST.

Always receive excellent service and treatment. Have been a patient since 1970s. Both Allison and Dr Morita did a great job explaining what they were doing and why. Everything was done on time and in a professional manner. Highly recommend this practice if dental work is needed.

Absolutely the best experience at a dentist I have ever had. Dr. Morita and her staff go above and beyond to make sure everything is done in the best way possible and that you feel comfortable and supported. I would give ten stars if I could.

We have been seeing Dr. Morita for more than five years now (my husband, myself, and now our two young children, who were but apples in our eyes when we first met Dr. Morita). We were devastated when she left the Bay Area to practice in Bellevue *until* we decided to make the same move ourselves shortly thereafter and were over the moon we were able to continue under her care. She is absolutely lovely, knowledgeable and up-to-date, and will recommend the most up to date treatment to address whatever your needs are. She will never recommend anything that isn't necessary and is incredibly transparent about the rationale and which things are urgent vs can wait and what to expect over time. We trust her implicitly. The staff we have met, including Julie, her incredibly friendly and responsive front office staff and Holly, her hygienist, have been equally professional and delightful. After experiencing a number of previous dentists who were either checked out or recommended costly dental interventions that were not in fact required (and in some cases, harmful), we are incredibly relieved that we are able to trust Dr. Morita's care and judgment. Her office also takes COVID precautions seriously and were incredibly accommodating of our request for detailed information about the office and its precautions so as to ease our minds before our visit. I could not recommend this practice more highly-- it's a shame only five stars are available, because it deserves a perfect 10.

Dr. Morita was awesome today. She explained each step of my procedure and was concerned about my comfort. Dr. Kennedy and Sharon, the hygienist are great! They shared more information with me than I've ever received before. Thank you! Yesterday I had another great experience at Dr. Kennedy's office. This practice is finely tuned, start-to-finish! I've had multiple visits and have seen the waiting room for probably less than 60 seconds. In fact, today, I walked in the door (on time) and the hygienist was standing there ready to take me back. In my experience with medical practices over the past decades, this just doesn't happen unless the entire team is on the same page! They get it!

tl;dr great covid policies for those at risk, high-quality care/service, very thorough Very easy to see how this place has 5 stars even at 170+ reviews. You get walked through all the pictures and xrays of your teeth and talked through every examination. The last place I was at told me I had cavities, but here, I was told I did not and we walked through all the stains/grooves in the pictures. I've never known so much about my teeth. :D This is also the most thorough place I have ever been - they were checking things I've never heard of. For example, gum depth? Toothbrushes can only clean so deeply so I was being checked for which areas of my teeth would be more susceptible to gum inflammation/disease. Customer service is also 10/10, and for those who are COVID conscious or at risk, this is the place to go! Everyone is required to wear masks and the staff all have pretty good quality ones (surgical, some kn95/n95s). There's a temp check and every little room with the patient chair has an air purifier running so even unmasked I felt very safe. All the forms are done online so I didn't even have to sit in the waiting room for more than a minute.
