Orthodontics is an exacting and evolving profession that constantly challenges and surprises me. It creates joy and excitement on a daily basis for our patients and for us: We love unwrapping new smiles and seeing the response of our patients and their parents!
Each patient is uniquely different, and we love to get to know everyone during their course of treatment. Sharing in their lives, and seeing each persons self-esteem and personality blossom, is an incredible experience. I have practiced orthodontics for over 20 years. I chose the specialty because of my own experience as a teenager while going through treatment. The increased confidence I received as a result of my care made me want to help others feel the same.
She regularly attends national, regional, state, and local orthodontic meetings, lectures, and seminars. Through continuing education, Dr. Aiosa stays up to date with the latest technological and methodological improvements in order to best serve her patients. Keeping an open mind to new ideas, and being current on the latest research, enable her to learn continuously and bolster her clinical knowledge in order to provide the ideal treatment and results.
In addition to continuing educational pursuits, Dr. Aiosa teaches FSCJ dental assisting students in basic orthodontic assisting processes. She also volunteers at the Mission of Mercy event in Jacksonville.
Dr. Aiosa was raised in Gainesville and has resided in Clay County since 1994. She and her husband Doug, a CPA, have three adult children Kevin, Nikki, and Gregory as well as two cats, Luna and Tanner. The family has also had the pleasure of hosting international students over the years.
If shes not in the office, Dr. Aiosa can often be found on the tennis courts, as she is an avid player. When the weather is warm, she and her family enjoy boating and love participating in water sports. She is also active in her church choir.
Each and every patient is different and I love the challenge that fact presents. I enjoy helping each person choose the treatment modality that is right for them and then, seeing that plan through to their finished smile.

I chose a career in orthodontics because of the blend of art and science. Orthodontics allows me to think critically while bringing aesthetics into the process. I also enjoy the personal connections and interactions it affords.'
Dr. Hoffman is dedicated to providing each patient with the highest quality of orthodontic care. He regularly participates in continuing education to learn about new treatment modalities and advancements to current technologies and methods. This ongoing training helps ensure our office provides the best possible treatment, orthodontic experience, and finished smile for our patients.
Originally from Ocala, Dr. Hoffman and his family now reside in Fleming Island. He and his wife Susan were high-school sweethearts. Theyve been married for more than 15 years and have three delightful children: Ellie, Miles, and Charlie.
Dr. Hoffman enjoys quality family time. They love going to the beach, hanging out by the pool, vacationing in the mountains of North Carolina, and visiting Florida theme parks. Dr. Hoffman also enjoys surfing, golfing, running, and cooking especially on the Big Green Egg.

I have been taking my daughters here for a little over a year now. Everybody in the office is a pleasure to be around. The wait time to be called back is almost non-existent, it's a very organized and well ran facility.

This orthodontist office is simply the best. I have had the most amazing experience with my son needing braces and we will be back when my daughter is ready for hers. Everyone from the ladies who work the front desk to the staff and doctors have provided excellent service. They are all kind, caring and skilled at what they do. The office clearly cares for all of the patients. I genuinely enjoying taking my son in and getting to see everyone in the office. This office absolutely puts their patients before profits. They have bent over backwards to help and work with our family.

Let me start with, in my opinion they only care about money and are the most insensitive and unsympathetic office to deal with. I have Invisalign for my son through OrthoBank. All was good until I had a serious accident and thankfully wasn't killed...seriously. I had a voluminous amount of medical bills and procedures. I called Aiosa & Hoffman's office and explained what happened to me and asked for a ONE (1) month courtesy hold on the OrthBank payment due to all my own medical bills and would make a double payment the following month. They FLAT OUT said NO. They did not care and stated they do not make any payment arrangements but could cancel my sons Invisalign until I could pay the one months payment. Are you kidding me? I'm asking for a ONE month payment courtesy hold and you want to cancel the Invisalign!!! It is not like I ditch my bills, I pay them. So I called OrthoBank and they stated they could push the payment date out and make 2 payments the following month. I just found out OrthoBank was called by Aiosa & Hoffman and had them place a note in my account to NOT make any payment arrangements with me. I am in the position to make the double payment and just did. HOWEVER, this is a note that they do not care about a fellow humans health and will NOT work with you for even a ONE month's assistance so you don't stress about the bill. IN MY OPINION, DO NOT GO TO THIS ORTHODONTIST, IF GOD FORBID YOU HAVE ANY TYPE OF ISSUE BECAUSE THEY WON'T WORK WITH YOU FOR ONE MONTH AND DON'T CARE....THEY ONLY WANT MONEY.

Was able and glad to have spoken with the DDS and straightened out the communication misunderstanding. I have no issue with the Orthodontist services at their office and am happy to have rectified the issue with them.

I would recommend this place to anyone. Everyone is super nice and efficient. My permanent retainer popped off of one tooth after 8 or 9 years and they got me in the next day to fix it. I got that repaired and got two new nighttime retainers and I was in and out in under an hour. Thanks so much!!

It's been a few years since I've had my braces removed and today at a regular dental cleaning my dentist kept complimenting my teeth and said I must've had a great orthodontist. Couldn't agree more, Dr. Aiosa's work is art that rivals the greats like Michelangelo and Donatello. She was extremely kind and thoughtful throughout the process.

Dr. Hoffman and all the wonderful ladies in the office were amazing! I couldn't be happier with my orthodontics experience and the outcome of my perfectly straight teeth. I also suffered from terrible TMJ, and after 2 years of orthodontics I now no longer have any pain. Highly recommend!!

Dr.Aiosa has a great program going on here! She rewards the patients with gift cards and when you get your braces off you can get candy too! Before the visit my daughter runs to the tooth rushing station where Dr.Aiosa provides disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, as well as mouthwash for the patients to prep Incase they didn't get to brush before hand! The lobby omg is it nice! There is coffe for the adults and children get to play in the video game area! Very clean and professional! Love it ! Keep it up Dr.Aiosa and Staff!!

When I first came in I did not expect much as I had small teeth most my life and my parents never thought it was a big deal. I grew up not knowing how out of align my mouth/teeth where. Dr. Aiosa and her staff are incredibly knowledgable and are determined and committed to making sure everything is correct. I had one of the most difficult cases and they made it seem like it was not a big deal. When I took my first bite of food and my teeth aligned and I did not have to align my jaw it was the most incredible feeling in the world. It really let me know what I was missing. My teeth look incredible versus when I first came in. Thank you for everything !!!
