Dr. Watanabe, DDS has her biology and neuroscience degree from the University of Toronto. She then studied at Case Western Reserve University with department specialists, obtaining her doctorate in dental science. Dr. Watanabe, DDS performed her general practice residency with MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Being a member of many organizations, Dr. Watanabe, DDS is able to learn and share information with other dentists and specialists regarding the latest procedures and materials available. Dr. Watanabe, DDS is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Greater Cleveland Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Western Implant Study Group.
The dental team includes experienced professionals led by Dr. Aico Watanabe. We each share the belief that the care we provide should be comprehensive and courteous responding fully to your individual needs. You are treated like family!
There is no greater joy than seeing a childs smile! At Aicos Dental Group, we believe in making dental care an early experience to help children in our communities start on a lifetime of healthy smiles. Our sincere goal is to be an active part in the education of the children and help them learn about the importance of excellent dental health.
We meet this goal by dental health programs in the preschools of our areas. Every year, we visit many schools and meet hundreds of children with our presentations. Children will see how important going to the dentist is for their total health. We give one-on-one instruction on how to keep their smiles sparkling and why eating healthy snacks is so important to their well-being.
They will see a video about going to the dentist for their first visit. A question-and-answer time is also completed. Each child takes home a packet of information to encourage parental interest and participation to continue the childs dental education on a daily basis. We have received many positive comments from the parents on their childs new interest in keeping their 'smile bright.'

I used to see Dr. Aico years ago but as I just hate going to the dentist, I haven't been in a while. I recently broke a tooth and now need a root canal but after calling and leaving messages several times over the last few weeks, I'll be looking for a new dentist because they don't have the decency to return your phone calls. I have a broken tooth in my mouth, that's painful and they can't even return a phone call! Rude.

All I will say is...watch your bill!! Been dealing with a billing issue since January. They say they sent claims to my insurance but my insurance has NO CLAIMS!! When I call the billing department they say it's the dentist office, dentist office says to speak to Cheri, Cheri blames someone else and by the way is very rude on the phone! Within the past year I was charged 4 times for something my insurance already paid for and now no one knows how to bill the insurance!! What a joke

Awesome experience! I've been going to the same dentist since I was a kid and I've been traumatized trying to find a new one. I have only been seen by Dr. Patterson but my fiance sees Dr. Watanabe and says she's great too. The staff is so friendly, especially the dental hygienist, and we really appreciate their extra covid precautions!

ZERO STARS!!!! My family and I have been going to this office for years and it's been one thing after another but the straw that broke the camels back was when my father went because he was having pain in a tooth that was recently worked on. They refused to touch him because their medically unreliable wrist BP cuff and their too small arm cuff show he has hypertension. My father went to his primary physician that day and his BP was checked by a real person rather than a machine and his numbers were perfect!!! On top of all that he has a pretty nasty infection! You can't tell me that Dr. Aicos couldn't have looked in his mouth regardless of the BP status and prescribed him antibiotics for the infection then revisit after medication was finished, even ask for a physician's note saying his BP was fine for the next visit? This is poor practice Dr. Aico, people depend on you to help them, and you failed to to that with my father! We are certainly looking for a new dentist for the entire family!!

Definitely would not recommend for little kids. I was coming here for years with my oldest child but after today, what happened with my son I will never take any of my kids back. I found a new dentist within 20 minutes of walking out of this office for my children. This place is not kid friendly.

If I could rate them nothing I would, I have gotten crowns done by them and absolutely hate them. They never let me decide the shade I wanted or let me look before hand. All she said was "do you plan to whiten your teeth", I had no clue she was starting after that. On top of that, I had a cavity starting in the middle of my front tooth.. she assured me it was a stain.. but here I am now months later with a cavity in my front tooth. They don't listen to the client. The lady's at the desk are rude as can be, at-least they were to me.

Highly recommend Dr. Watanabe. I had my Invisalign fitted by her, and now I have perfectly straight teeth! The process went by smoothly and I am very happy with my results! Thanks, Dr. Aico!

everyone there was super nice! had a cleaning done and found out that I had a small cavity, which they were able to fill right after so I didnt need to come back! while working, they make sure to tell you exactly what they are doing and repeatedly ask if you are okay/anything is bothering you-- something a lot of dentists ive been to in the past dont do!
