She received her dental degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed her orthodontic residency program at Temple University School of Dentistry. While at Temple, Dr. Ahl earned her certificate in orthodontics and Master of Science in oral biology.
Dr. Ahl received the esteemed status of board certification and was honored to present a board case for Excellence in Occlusion to national recognition in 2013. She believes in staying on the cutting edge of developments and research in orthodontics by frequently attending continuing education courses.
Dr. Ahl and her husband, Douglas Ditty, are blessed with three children: Brianna, Collin, and Elaina. She and her family are active members of the Wyoming United Methodist Church in Wyoming, Delaware. When shes not in the orthodontic office, she spends time with her family and friends, travels, skis, and enjoys running.
Dr. Charis OConnor is a talented, motivated, and experienced practitioner who is an enthusiastic contributor to the Kent and Sussex orthodontic communities. Dr. OConnor is a native of Delaware who took over Dr. Kidds practice before joining in a partnership with Dr. Ahl.
Dr. OConnor attended the University of Pittsburgh for her dental education. She remained at the university for an additional three years to complete her orthodontic residency. Her education exposed her to several learning philosophies and treatment modalities, all of which she implements in private practice. Dr. OConnor graduated at the top of her class. She was the recipient of several academic scholarships and made the Deans list each year of her dental education.
Dr. OConnor is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She is also an active member of the Kent-Sussex Dental Society, the Delaware State Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. OConnor resides in Dover with her husband Michael and daughters Regan and Avery. When shes not creating beautiful smiles, she enjoys playing tennis, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Just finished my treatment and I can't say enough about this practice. I never had to wait more than 5 mins on my visits, which never happens anymore at dentist/dr offices. Everyone is super sweet and professional. Treatment is complete according to original plan. Highly recommend!

My daughter, age 14, had a full set of braces put on yesterday and she was comfortable, talked to kindly and reassured that she was making a good decision for herself. She's been a patient of this office for several years now and has never once had a bad experience. I HIGHLY recommend this office for any orthodontic care. We use the Lewes office exclusively.

One of the best decisions that we have ever made was going to these orthodontists. They are extremely reasonably priced, and the care and concern that they take with your child is quite above and beyond outstanding. I really feel that you cannot get any better care anywhere else. I loved Carolyn she is the best receptionist and gives great orientation almost thought she was the doctor lol... her and DR OCONNOR are litterally awesome in making you feel comfortable in your visit and very professional approach highly recommended them and her whole team they not only take super great care in there work but the patients themselves aswell and make sure your needs are suited to you and in level of comfortability and cleanliness and politeness unmatched anywhere else can't beat it

The customer service with this company is superb I have not had on issue with both my children receiving braces. I feel welcome when i come through door and they explain everything so my children can understand the process and what is to come! I have recommended them to everyone in need of their service
