Ever since he can remember, Dr. Aguilar has had a passion for art, science, working with his hands, and personal interactions. While he was still in high school, the father of one of his close friends invited him to observe the dental profession, and he quickly fell in love. Dentistry had a very human element to it while still integrating art with a strong scientific foundation the ideal combination of all his interests! He started to seek out any dental exposure he could get throughout high school and college, such as shadowing other dental professionals or volunteering. Every experience further reinforced that this career choice was the correct path.

Dr. Aguilar attended the Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, and his time at the school ingrained in him a lifelong commitment to serve others and his local community at large. To this day, his dental office philosophy and overall attitude continue to be positively influenced by his experiences there! His college career started at Boston College in Chestnut Hill. Interestingly enough, he conducted a research project tracking the Eastern Box Turtle on Cape Cod in Massachusetts during these years! He then pursued his dental doctorate at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry (now simply known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry). Following graduation, Dr. Aguilar has worked in all sorts of dental settings, including the corporate world (not his favorite), a non-profit public health clinic, and private dental offices. Hes excited to continue the legacy of this dental office serving the Denton community.

Dr. Aguilar has been married to his lovely wife Viri for over six years now, who is from Plano and has her MBA in Human Resources from UNT. Together, they have two lovely, energetic daughters, Isabel who likes dancing and being silly, and Olivia the new baby, who enjoys giggling and playing. They put a smile on his face every second of the day! The last member of the family is their fur baby Jovi, who is a Poodle-Havenese mix.

Away from work, Dr. Aguilar enjoys spending quality time with his family, riding his bicycles (both alone and with his daughter), following local sports teams, grilling with loved ones, playing golf, and being outdoors.

Originally from Plano, Viri completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, followed by her MBA in Organizational Behavior from the University of North Texas. Viri is Dr. Aguilars wife. They have two young daughters named Isabel and Olivia who keeps them very busy and entertained and a dog named Jovi. She is truly excited to have joined the best team in town and looks forward to building relationships with patients and coworkers alike. She wants to ensure that everyones time in the dental office is comfortable and stress-free.

Sue has been working in the dental field for well over 40 years now, with most of that time spent right here at our dental office! She loves everything about her job, from the doctor to her coworkers to the patients it all feels like one big family. She is responsible for and has full knowledge of, all front office information and is known to step in and assist Dr. Aguilar in the back when needed.

With an impressive 14+ years of experience under her belt, Liz joined our team in 2021. For her, coming into work each day is extremely rewarding for one important reason: it means she gets to help others. She was born and raised in Argyle and loves helping nearby patients get the happy, healthy, beautiful smiles of their dreams!

When she isnt with our team, she loves spending time with her three beautiful kids and two pets. Her interests outside of dentistry include watching movies and decorating for parties and celebrations!

Jennifer has been a part of our team for nearly two full decades now. Originally from Muenster, she studied at Texas Womans University. Today, she really enjoys getting to know our patients and their families while seeing them grow throughout the years. Jennifer is dedicated to improving the overall health of her patients and always ensures our patients have the tools and the knowledge necessary to maintain a healthy smile.

At home, Jennifer is married with two children. Her daughter Haley is a high school cheerleader, while her son Logan loves everything involving sports. She and her husband Jeff stay very busy supporting their various activities.

Originally from Springtown, Sophia studied at the NDS Dental Assistant School in Fort Worth. Today, she loves getting to work alongside such wonderful people, as well as build relationships with our amazing patients.

A native Texan, Traci was born and raised in Lewisville and Flower Mound. She started in the work program while attending Lewisville High School, meaning she now has more than 30 years of experience in the world of dentistry! She completed her studies at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. To this day, her favorite parts of her job are helping educate patients on their dental needs and having them become more like family.

Away from the office, youll most likely find Traci spending time with her family, including her husband, three children, one granddaughter, and three dogs. She also enjoys traveling and running. In fact, she has ran two marathons and one ultra-marathon!

A Texas native, Allyson completed her studies at UNT in Corinth and NCTC in Gainesville. She joined our team in 2021 and is looking forward to many more years of caring for the smiles of individuals and families in and around the Denton area. When asked about her favorite part of her job, she shared the fact that everyone is so nice!

In her free time, Allyson enjoys going to Six Flags with her family, crocheting, watching Netflix, riding her bike, and sewing. In fact, she is one of the only people in her family who knows how to sew!
