Meet Dr. Naresh Kalra, the Founder, CEO and Head Doctor at Agoka Dental. Dr. Kalra graduated from New York University in 1991 and passed both of his National Dental Boards with a score of 94 ranking him in the top 8% in the country. Since starting his private practice in 1994, Dr. Kalra has treated over 9000 patients from all across the country and even overseas from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and India.
Dr. Kalra continually upgrades his skills in all dental techniques through continuing education and his affiliations with several dental associations. Florida Department of Professional Regulation requires that dentists attend educations seminars for 30 hours in a 2 year period, but Dr. Kalra has more than doubled that number every 2 year period since starting his practice. With all his hard work and determination to keep his patients as his number one priority, Dr. Kalra was recognized as one of Americas Top Dentist in 2012 for implants, orthodontics, and family dentistry.
Dr. Kalra is an active member of the dental community. He has been a member International Association for Orthodontics, is a current member in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kalra has been a President for the Tampa Bay Academy of General Dentistry then a Board Member at the large level and now is a National Delegate for the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kalra has a computerized practice and follows strict infection control procedures. He is dedicated to providing top-notch, quality dental treatment with compassion and care to people who care for quality. He has even taken time to organize and participate in past Tampa area health fairs where he speaks over the importance oral health and what his practice does to help people. His ultimate goal is that more and more people should achieve healthy mouths, bright smiles and ultimate good health.
Dr. Rajiv Kalra (Dr. K) earned his dental degree with highest honors from the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry. During his time there Dr. K organized, supported, and participated in multiple dental mission trips to India, Ecuador, and the Dominican Republic. He also was on his class board and served as Treasurer throughout dental school.
Dr K is a Tampa Bay native; he attended Hillsborough High School and went on to attend the University of Florida for his bachelors degree in Nutritional Sciences. After graduating with his doctorate of dental medicine, Dr. K spent two years practicing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Dr. K met his now wife, Priya Kalra, while living in Washington D.C. and they recently got married and moved to Tampa.
Dr. K is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He enjoys learning about new technology and advances in the dental community and is passionate about helping his patients obtain pain relief and delivering dentistry in a safe and pain-free manner. He was recently awarded a certificate for completing an aesthetic continuum, which enhances his expertise in cosmetic dentistry.
In his spare time he enjoys teaching the community about dental health by organizing health fairs as well as participating in well-recognized events such as the Special Olympics: Special Smiles and Mission of Mercy.

I highly recommend this dentist to everyone! Dr. Naresh Kalra is an excellent dentist. He is honest and very detail oriented. I have been his patient for over a decade and he is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. Most of Dr. Kalra's staff is super nice and helpful. It is a pleasure to go there and I am happy that I have found an excellent dentist I can trust. I am giving 5 stars plus.

My experience with Agoka Dental has been nothing short of amazing. I have a unique dental case being born without certain teeth and from my first visit, Dr. Kalra listened with empathy and was so helpful in designing a treatment plan that would help me reach my smile goals. I had missing teeth and crowded front teeth-- see attached for my "after" photo. From wisdom teeth removal, to teeth whitening, to veneers and crowns, it was clear that both Dr. Kalra and Dr. K are true artists and perfectionists with great bedside manner. I am so thankful a friend recommended this gem of a place and hope this helps you choose Agoka Dental as well!

I've been going there for over a year and I've never had a bad experience. Staff is super friendly and down to earth. Location is convenient. Dr. Rajiv Kalra is very professional. Great place to get some dental work done without driving too far.

I am so happy to have found Dr. Naresh. I came in with very bad dental problems and felt like a hopeless case. All procedures were very gentle and I felt cared greatly for by the entire staff. A tooth had broken off in the upper back of my mouth. It broke almost even with the gum. I went to Agoka Dental the next day in fear and trembling...more in fear of the cost than of the procedure. Since there was not enough tooth left to grasp and extract it, I thought that Dr. Kalra would have to cut away a lot of gum, and, that it would cost a fortune. Instead, he was able to extract the tooth gently, and the cost was reasonable. This was my second visit. He and his staff are very kind and competent. I would definitely return...not any time soon, though, I hope.

I absolutely dreaded going to the dentist. Went 10 yrs without going but now that I found this office I don't mind going. Great dentist and staff. Always very polite and professional. Would highly recommend this office and dentist.

Our experience at agoka dental was excellent. My husband had wisdom teeth pain and we have seen Dr. Naresh karla and he have took his time in explaining and examine him. Dr. Naresh karla did the process and my husband he didn't even realize when it finished and he had no pain or discomfort. Dr. Naresh and his assistant nurse explain after procedure and we follow amd had no problem. I would recommend to anyone who needs cosmetic work or routine dental procedures. He is very good at his work very friendly and very reasonble price too. The staff is very friendly and the environment is very good and professional. I and my husband was very happy after his visit. I can't wait for my dental procedures to be done. Thank you dr. Naresh karla and team.

My experience at Agoka Dental was wonderful. I went for a dental implant evaluation and ended up agreeing to do the treatment. Dr. Rajiv Kalra explained to me in great detail how the whole process would be. I was delighted with the process of the operation and the subsequent treatment, the doctor and the entire staff were very kind and were aware of me at all times. I recommend to anyone who needs to have any dental repair done and look good aesthetically to go to this place because it is pleasant, friendly, a good price in any dental arrangement and above all they are very professional.

I would highly recommend Dr. K's office and his team. I had to have two crowns done on my front teeth, and Dr. K spent incredible extra time and attention to make sure my crowns matched the shape and size of my teeth. Thanks to Dr. K and his extraordinary team I finally have the wonderful smile I have been dreaming about for years. The procedure was completely painless and the price was unbeatable. I have already received so many compliments on my new smile. I am beyond satisfied. The best part is that the office is open from 7am so I don't have to ask for a day off from work.
