Dr. Shanahan received her D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. During her tenure at Tufts, Dr. Shanahan achieved recognition on the Deans honor roll for her performance on the National Dental Board. Prior to attending Tufts, Dr. Shanahan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Science from the Medical University of Lublin, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Shanahans concentration during this five-year program was on medicine and all aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Shanahan is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Worcester District Dental Society. She is a formerDental Director for UMass Memorial Ronald McDonald Mobile Care.She resides in Worcester with her husband, Marty, and her sons, Martin and Nicholas. In 2016, Dr. Shanahan joined the practice in Spencer.

Andrea has been with our office since 1987. She has an energetic, enthusiastic and motivated personality and an incredible ability to make anyone feel instantly at ease; our new patients leave the office feeling like theyve known her for years. Andrea will answer all of your questions concerning your first visit and treatment needed as well as insurance benefits, payment options and billing questions. Andrea graduated from South Eastern as a Certified dental Assistant.
Kim grew up in the area and graduated from David Prouty High School. Kim is a Certified Dental Assistant and has been with the practice for 17-years. She loves seeing a lot of familiar faces while at work. Kim has shown a great passion for educating patients about their teeth and finds it very rewarding to see patients feeling better both physically and esthetically. One of her personal goals with every patient is to ensure that they feel comfortable in the chair, and create an atmosphere whereby they feel free to talk about their concerns and ask question about oral health.
Lisa grew up here in Spencer. She studied Dental Hygiene at Quinsigamond Community College and has been at our practice since 1993. Lisa shows great confidence and care and is an excellent dental hygenist. She is a quick learner and will always have a smile on her face. Lisa takes pride in making sure that every patient to achieve a lifetime of dental health.
Colleen graduated with Dental Hygiene Degree from Mount Wachusett Community College. She was excited to join our practice in July of 2018. Colleen enjoys meeting new people and always does her best to make sure her patients feel comfortable. She is quiet and kind, loves animals, and spends her free time hiking mountains. She loves seeing patients confident with their smiles.
