Jazmine Puentes is our Regional Manager and has been a part of the Agave Dental Family since it first opened its doors! She graduated from Kaplan College in October of 2012 as a Registered Dental Assistant, from Del Mar College in 2014 with an associate degree in Psychology, and is currently studying for her MBA. She was born and raised on the coast of Texas, and travels around to all of our dental office locations! She loves her job and all that comes with it. Jazmine feels very fortunate to be a part of this company, and cannot wait for the big plans we have in store!

Devana Almaguer is a member of the Billing Department at Agave Dental. She has been in the Dental field for one year doing billing and production for the department. Devana also serves in the U.S. Army National Guard and has been doing so for the past seven years! She enjoys fishing during her leisure time and most of all, loves to spend time with her God babies.

Kayla Stewart is our office manager at Agave Dental Floresville. She has been in the dental field since 2009. She graduated from Coastal Dental Assisting School, and obtained her RDA from Texas Academy of General Dentistry. She is Texas Board Certified. She resides in Gonzales County and commutes each day to dedicate her time with our Agave Family. She is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her children when she isnt helping people achieve great smiles. She is very proud to work closely with a dental team that is more like a family than anything. Areas of expertise include: assisting in General Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Orthodontics. She also has history of billing and insurance and can assist patients in anyway needed. In her free time she coaches her daughters cheer team and and loves to having family gatherings.

Kennia is the billing coordinator at Agave Dental Floresville. She has been working in the dental field since September 2011. She joined the Agave Team June 1, 2017. She enjoys working with the Agave Dental Family because every day is a new experience! Each day is different with new technology changing and the uniqueness of each individual patient. She enjoys the practices family-oriented atmosphere, and loves the quality of care each doctor and team member provide for our patients. She is married and has 3 boys. On her free time she loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys cooking, fishing, and shopping.

Kayla joined the Agave Dental Family on July 5, 2017. She started at our practice as a registered dental assistant. She later transitioned to a patient coordinator in November. Her goal is to have every patient leave feeling confident. She is a proud mother to a beautiful little girl. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Bianca has been in the dental field for 5 years. She received her RDA license at Texas State in 2013. Bianca enjoys talking to patients every day and making sure she can do her very best to fulfill their dental needs. She is knowledgeable in insurance and all dental procedures. She has a great personality and is always willing to help wherever she is needed. She assists in the clinic when needed and helps coordinate patients daily. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies with her son and dining out.

Lori is our insurance coordinator. She has over 15 years experience in dental assisting. She started out at Agave Dental as a registered assistant. She transitioned to our insurance coordinator in 2016. she enjoys meeting new patients and talking with them fully maximize their insurance benefits to decrease their out of pocket expenses. She is a proud mother of 5 and has 6 beautiful grandchildren. she enjoys spending every minute she can with her family.

Kristie Guarjardo is our lead dental assistant who has Agave Dental for almost 3 years. She graduated from UT HEALTH AND SCIENCE CENTER Dental Assisting School with her degree in Dental Assisting. She is Texas State Board and CPR certified. She loves her job and patients. She looks forward to seeing her patients leave with a smile. She works all major procedures side by side our phenomenal doctors. She loves spending time with her family and friends when she isnt dedicating herself to her career. She is a mother of 4 and spends a lot of time with her family. In her down time, She loves karaoke and going dancing, Her hobbies consist of shopping, cooking, and watching movies.

Dustin Kotara is 20 years old from Stockdale Texas. He is currently working at Agave Dental as a RDA. He has always been interested in Dental. Dustin hopes to make dental visits as easygoing as possible. Whenever Dustin isnt working he enjoys hanging out with friends or watching Netflix.

Amalia Sendejo, also known as Molly, was born and raised in Floresville, TX. She is a licensed Dental Assistant and CPR certified. She enjoys getting to know her patients and seeing them walk out with a smile! She loves any adventures life throws at her. She enjoys spending tine with her family, friends, and two dogs.

Samantha Palacios is one of the RDAs at Agave Dental. She has been born and raised in Floresville Tx. She loves assisting the doctors and loves her co workers. On her free time she likes to shop, go to the lake, spend time with family, and play with her dogs.

Serena Fernandez has been a long time resident of Floresville, TX and is happily married with one amazing little girl. She graduated from Brightwood College in 2016 and has been with the Agave Family since she graduated. She enjoys making people feel confident about her smile. Her goal is to make sure everyone leaves our office happy and satisfied with the visit.

Being a dentist, I love to listen to my patients and help regain their confidence and self-esteem. Having patients leave the office with a huge smile and a sense of pride gives me immense gratification. My goal is to treat peoples concerns about their teeth and enhance their lifestyle. I have a great time learning about each individuals life and their families and forming long lasting relationships with each of them.

Dr. Sumeet S. Malhotra, DMD was raised in the footsteps of the beautiful Himalayan range in India and moved to the United States for his further studies in dentistry. Eventually, Dr. Malhotra attended Henry M. Goldmans School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

He has been practicing in the State of Texas since 2010 and has gained great recommendation from his previous patients regarding his work. His colleagues and patients have kept Dr. Malhotra in high regard. He works extremely well when treating children at his office, they all love him!

Dr. Malhotra spends his leisure time with his wife, who is also a dentist and plays an active role in managing the office. He loves to go to the beach and to remain active. He enjoys comedy shows, movies, and watching sports (he was a Karate Gold Medalist in his teens). Spending time with family and friends on the weekends is a routine for Dr. Malhotra. He also has a passion for traveling and spending time in the kitchen cooking with his wife for family and friends.

Dr. Joung W. Lee is excited to join Agave Dental, offering quality care to patients of all ages. Dr. Lee was originally born in South Korea in 1982 and came to the U.S at the age of 23. Dr. Lee earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry from Georgia Tech with highest honors. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine program at the Nova Southeastern School of Dental Medicine in Florida. He graduated with honor of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and also is the award winner for 2015 Academy of General Dentistry. Along with his professional experience, Dr. Lee has received training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, implant restoration, cosmetic dentistry, and advanced dental technology, such as CAD-CAM dentistry and Cone Beam CT. He is an amateur soccer player who has been registered at San Antonio Soccer Association (SASA).

Dr. Minkyung (Mia) Lee was born and raised in a small town of Busan in South Korea. She attended the University at Buffalo, State University of New York for an undergraduate degree in honors general biology and followed a childhood dream to attend dental school in Sunny Florida at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Mia Lee loves working with children. She is very passionate about all aspects of dentistry and strives to build strong patient relationships to provide comprehensive patient care. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mia enjoys spending her time with her dog at home. She loves to shop online, do pilates, and read books.
