To ensure an efficient and gentle experience, our office utilizes the most up to date imaging technology for digital x-rays and intraoral cameras, as well as using the best resin composite materials and bonding agents for your restorations.
Dr. Konopka received her education in dentistry from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Following her graduation, she completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of California, San Francisco where she was a number one resident. She holds certifications in Orthodontics, Invisalign and Botox. She is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
When shes not at the office, Dr. Konopka enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter as well as making the most out of what our fantastic community has to offer. She considers herself fortunate to live in the Santa Cruz area, where she can take advantage of the nearby beaches. She also enjoys hiking and biking, and any activity where she can be outdoors in the beautiful California sunshine.
Dr. Caballero completed her Dental degree at University of Washington. Dr. Caballero also received her Master's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois. Dr. Caballero brings a gentle and personalized approach to our practice.
Dr. Samuel Kuo was born and raised in Santa Cruz. He graduated from Harbor High School and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Santa Cruz. Dr. Kuo attended the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry to earn his DDS degree.Afterwards, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Fresno VA and Community Regional Medical Center where he served as chief resident. Dr. Kuo then returned to his hometown and has been serving the Santa Cruz community ever since. In his spare time,Dr. Kuo enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 boys, and family relatives whether its playing sports, biking, or going for a walk on the beach.
'Active Superhero- Saving Smiles One Dental Cleaning at A Time' Jane has been practicing dental hygiene since 2004. She practiced for 10 years in Florida where she is originally from. After moving to Santa Cruz in 2014, she joined Dr. Konopka 's team. Jane is passionate about smiles. She believes that the key to a healthy smile is self-awareness and self-care. She strives to reach patients ' optimum oral health goal together with them. Jane is highly appreciated by many for her skillset and professionalism. She is a recipient of the Proctor and Gamble Preventive Oral Health Award for Dental Hygienist and Miss Congeniality Award for Tallahassee Community College Dental Hygiene Program. On her downtime, she enjoys musical jam sessions with her husband. She is also a vanlifer and loves outdoor adventures.
Naomi received her dental assisting certificate in 2008. Since joining Dr. Konopka's practice in 2019, it has been her pleasure to work with a team that strives to give their patients ultimate care. Helping them fall in love with their smile again is always the best part of her day. In her free time, you can find Naomi gardening, tending to her tropical plant collection, or visiting the Live Oak farmer's market.
Kelsey is our newest team member and we welcomed her in December of 2021. Kelsey began practicing as a Dental Assistant in 2013. She is currently a Registered Dental Assistant and attending the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco to obtain her license as a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions. We are excited to welcome Kelsey to our team as she will be able to provide dental services to our patients under Dr. Konopka's supervision.

Dr. Konopka is fantastic. She is kind, caring, patient, and talented. The level of service I have received has been way above what I had before. Their equipment is new and leads to better results, and the staff work together like a team. Dr. Konopka is committed to quality care.

Dr. Konopka and team are wonderful! Everyone is very friendly, professional and helpful. They have implemented all new procedures to maximize safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm very happy with the recent teeth cleaning and new crown. I highly recommend!

I can't say I like to go to the dentist but Agata Konopka definitely makes it a more mangable and relaxing experience as you feel comfortable and know you are in good hands. I highly recommend!

Dr. Konopka is FANTASTIC! She is very professional, kind and compassionate, and an absolute perfectionist in her craft! Im a huge baby when it comes to certain things, especially needles and dental work, and she was wonderful during my procedure and really helped me feel extremely at ease. Not only is Dr. Konopka wonderful, but so is her entire staff- excellent experience from front desk to dental assistant to dentist! I'm grateful to be a patient of this practice and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Her staff are also highly professional but personally friendly, putting patients at ease with their sensitivity and good humor. Dr. Konopka is the most talented and artistic dentist I have ever found. On three occasions I chipped front teeth that needed restoring to their original appearance. It is impossible to identify them now, they are perfect.
