Dr. Poon attended the McGill University in Montreal, Quebec where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He continued his education at the New York University, College of Dentistry, where he was awarded the Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Upon graduation, Dr. Poon was accepted into a competitive residency program in general practice at Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, NY and held the position of Chief resident his 2nd year into the program. During his residency, he received advanced clinical training on Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
