I had to get a wisdom tooth removed. It was completely painless and out in two minutes. Avis was also very kind to me when I was nervous. Great experience!

I had an abscess. I went to one dentist who said the tooth couldn't be saved and wanted to pull it. I went to Afton Family Dental and they saved the tooth with a root canal and crown. The dentist did very good work.

This was my second visit to Afton Family Dental. All staff were friendly and professional. I had 4 teeth removed and the next day I felt fine. This will not be my last visit because I trust them with my smile.

I scheduled my dentist appointment for a Saturday morning so that I would not have to feel pressured for time. I was extremely nervous because I had to have root canal and caps. The dental procedure was scheduled for top and bottom. I was so frightened just thinking about the numbing phase of the dental work. When the dentist began and ended the injections I could not believe that a dentist would take patience/time to be as careful as he was when administering the numbing portion of the procedure. Of course, expertise and dental knowledge certainly controls the procedure. He gave instructions/directions on head movements to make sure all instruments that were being used were aimed at the exact location in the mouth so there would be no blundering errors. His assistant was knowledgeable/pleasant/responded to every question by answering with respect and professional content. When checking out (Tony) answered all of my questions with accuracy/patience/understanding and most of all, with professionalism. If you are ever in needed of dentistry work call AFTON Dental because you will arrive with a smile and positively leave with a much larger smile which will include perfected dental work.

Very satisfied with the level of care I received from doctor Shrestha and his assistant she was very kind and informative of what to expect during my root canal I've been here a few times and each time is great I appreciated the assistance I got from gentleman at the front desk with explaining the costs and so forth I highly recommend if you have any dental emergencies or concerns Afton Dental is definitely the place to visit for quality care, even received a text next day checking on my state post procedure!

I have went to other dental offices, and kept coming back to Afton Dental for Dr. S and the staff. Every single one of the staff are amazing, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and genuine. Dr. S does great work, the only reason I tried other offices is because of the distance I have to travel to south Philly, but every since last year I don't care about the distance I will travel the hour ride to come to this office. I haven't encountered a dentist and his assistants who actually care and do amazing flawless work, my mother is a dental assistant and she worked with Dr. S before and he is the only dentist that works on her as well, so he came highly recommended.

AMAZING Dentist, highly recommend! Impeccable service, Tony on the front desk is extremely helpful and patient. I went to this dentist 12 years ago and when I recently moved back to the area I went back without a 2nd thought, its the same awesome experience now as it was then!

I needed an extraction immediately as my broken tooth was causing bruising and pain on that side of my tongue. I called on a Tuesday evening and I got an appointment for that Thursday. Amazing! Everyone - from Tony, who answered the phone on Tuesday, to the receptionist, technicians (Tony and Avis), and the dentist (Dr. Chittiz S.) - was so pleasant, friendly, helpful, yet professional. I felt so comfortable! The extraction was the most painless and quickest I have ever experienced (I've had 3 prior extractions over the course of 38 years). I highly recommend Dr. Afton's office for all your dental needs (especially if it's hard for you to get to Center City and/or you need help ASAP). God bless all! THANK you for helping me!

Visited office with an emergency. The staff assisted me right away, in a friendly pleasant manner and was very knowledgeable. Doctor advised me of what needed to be done and explained everything he was going to do. He and assistant made me feel comfortable about the process. I could tell from his swiftness but accuracy that he was very skilled and knew what he was doing. I was very pleased with the results! I have more work to be done and I will be returning with no worries about anything! *I highly recommend this practice!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff and services at Afton Family Dental. The time from check-in to being seen was less than 5 minutes, they are extremely friendly, the virus safety protocol is top notch, and they are extremely informative. I ended up needing a root canal and I can honestly say IT DID NOT HURT AT ALL! I am very impressed and will absolutely be returning for all my future dental needs.

Couldn't be happier with my experience here - everyone was super nice. They took the time to explain what I needed done, then went as far as scheduling me before the New Year so I could maximize my insurance benefit! I was in and out quickly and everything was as smooth as possible. Really appreciative of the level of care and service here; if you're scrolling reviews trying to figure out where to go I can't recommend Afton Family Dental enough!

Don't go to this place if I could give it zero stars I would. Brought my mother here she was supposed to see a Woman Doctor first but they changed Doctors on her. Then they quoted her $7,000 for what she needed done. We went and got a second opinion and they quoted us $1,100 that's a huge difference. They are getting over on people.
