Outside of dentistry, Dr. Burwinkel enjoys spending time with his wife, Jenny, his Mini Goldendoodle, Duffy, and his family and friends. In his free time, he also likes to watch sports, stay active, and read.

Friendly, effective and helpful. I love the feeling of freshly cleaned teeth (so I'm not a fan of leaving with the fluoride film coating my teeth-I'll pass next time, if they don't have trays).

I had a broken tooth couple of month ago. Once I visited by the dentist, the suggestion was to put a crown. Immediately after the first crown, I felt the discomfort and pain in my tooth. After almost a month with having pain, I have been referred to the specialist for a possible root canal. I have also done a root canal on my tooth and I still had a pain. The specialist also was able to find a piece of cement (used for the crown) between my two teeth (which was left from the crown procedure). I did a root canal for the tooth beside my original tooth for a possible root for the pain by the specialist . Now, it has been two weeks after my second root canal and still having pain. I still have the pain and the cause for that wasn't found yet.

This was my First visit to the Afinia West Chester office. Everyone from the front desk personnel, dental hygienist and Dr. W were so nice and accommodating. A feeling of trust was established early on. I arrived on time and within 5 minutes I was in the hygienist chair. She reviewed my dental history and medical status. I reminded her that I have a hearing disability so when I take my hearing aids out for dental work she needed to speak clearly. She did a wonderful job. The cleaning was quick and painless. The dentist came in and we introduced ourselves. We talked for 5-10 minutes getting to know one another. He examined my teeth and together with the hygienist gave me feedback on my dental health. I made my 6-month appointment with ease. Overall they get 5-stars putting this old man's dental anxiety to rest. Thank you for taking care of me.

I have irrational dental anxiety, but Dr. Burwinkle and his staff have been top notch! I'm extremely satisfied with my progress and the work they've done for myself, as well as my sons. Great team, lovely office, gentle dentist. 10/10 recommend.

For someone who is scared to death of going to the dentist, this entire group made me feel so comfortable. I appreciate everyone. They got me in quick and we now have a plan to resolve my issues. I highly recommend!

Afinia dental in West Chester is amazing! My daughter was scheduled to have her teeth pulled but we had mistakenly called and set it up at the wrong office! The staff at thebWest Chester location was friendly and efficient and we were able to go ahead and have everything done with no issues whatsoever even though we technically didn't even have an appt at that office! I thought for sure we would have to reschedule once I realized I had made the appt at the wrong place. Not only were we able to still get right in, but everything was done and we were out the door in less than an hour!

Great dentist. Got me in one hour after calling and was only there for a hour. Friendly staff, they were quick and still made you feel comfortable. Will continue going here and would definitely recommend to anyone.

If you have anxiety from going to the dentist, this is the place to be. They are so kind and caring! I expressed my past experiences with them and they definitely went above and beyond to make sure i was taken care of! I got 2 of my molars extracted and their healing great!
