In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Well what can i say i so wish i would have done this a long time ago what a painless and wonderful experience i can smile again the staff and dr were simply amazing and they take care of you like no other dentist i have ever been to...if u need a new smile with a wonderful experience dont hesitate go now...thank u to all of u for renewing my confidence to smile big again..everyone of you are so kind..u kept saying the dr is amazing and well you were right

my experience was not good. went in expecting one price and was given another. they tried to upsale everything from tooth extraction to the type of dentures. Dr did not listen to what i wanted or what I could afford he was insistet on the most expensive options. and made exscuses why the cheeper versions wouldn't work for me. so I paid 115 office visits and ended up leaving and going to belmeed to another office and getting everything done for the price I wanted. why advertise a price if your unwilling to provide your services at that price.

I started my journey on August 22,2022. I was very afraid but Alyssa and Dr Michael were awesome!!!! They worked with me, he took his time with numbing me really well! I had MINIMAL discomfort with ONE of the 22 teeth extracted. I could go on and on about how well I was treated! I'm loving my new teeth and I'm healing nicely. My only regret is not getting in there sooner!

The dental assistant was obnoxious. The dentist did come in but never looked at me or spoke to me. I will never go back there.

I was very apprehensive about calling Affordable Dentures in the beginning. At 40 years old getting dentures was embarrassing to me. I had advanced periodontal disease and had missing and gapped teeth that made me hate to smile! From the very first call to Affordable Dentures I knew it would be an amazing experience. The front office staff was so kind and answered all of my questions. My free consultation was just as wonderful. They walked me through the process and made me feel so good about my decision. I needed a lot of extractions and the dentist was so caring and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. They took all of my health issues into consideration and just made the entire process an easy one. The entire office is so nice. I never hesitate to call if I need an adjustment or have a question. Making that first call to Affordable Dentures was the best decision I have made. Not only did it help my self-esteem, my health has improved as well. I highly recommend making the call. You will not be disappointed.

Today was Great. Usually you're doing well if 2 out of 3 (Office Staff, Dental Assistants & Dentists) are friendly, knowledgeable people. We hit the Jackpot with this dental office. The office staff if wonderful & Emailed the forms for me so I was able to arrive prepared. The Dental Assistant, Ashley, the fantastic. Dr Mery was able to set my mind at ease quickly & has a kind way of dealing with patients in pain. I have already referred them to 2 friends & I look forward to working with this group of people in July.

On April 29 2022 I had my dentures replaced upon returning home the dentures were causing a major problem. I made a follow up appointment and on May 6 2022 the problem was immediately corrected. The entire staff was very friendly and very professional, especially Ms Ashley. I have used their services for over 8 years. I recommend Affordable Dentures Waco for fast and professional service! Amazing, PJ.

After having a terrible experience with another dentist office, I scheduled an appointment with affordable dentures and they have far exceeded my expectations. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and what took my old dentists months to do (and fail repeatedly) they had done in an hour and a half. I could not be happier!

I searched and researched many different locations to get my teeth pulled and have dentures made. None were as good as the dentist and his staff at Affordable Dentures. I went to Waco and met Dr Mery and his assistants who made me feel so at ease. After XRays and examination of my mouth a plan was presented to me for treatment. This price was so reasonable that I scheduled the appointment date right away. I had my teeth removed yesterday. I was made comfortable and I relaxed. This was highly unusual for me as I had a phobia when seeing a dentist. Removal of my teeth was painless. My status was checked by the dentist often which was reassuring to me. I received my dentures before I left the office knowing that I will have follow up visits to obtain a great fit. I highly recommend this business to anyone looking for dentures or implants. Wearing my new dentures is trying but being able to go back to the dental office for adjustments is becoming beneficial. About every other week I have had to go see them with minor issues. They always take the time necessary to fix my problem with a reminder to come back if I need further help. This is very reassuring.
