In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Had 130 pm appointment. I arrived about 45 mins early. At 2 pm I was still sitting in the lobby. And told at that point it would be another 30 to 45 mins before the would get me back. If you are 30-45 mins late they cancel your appointment and would probably want to charge. They 30-45 mins late... oh well you gotta deal with it. Not good business.

These ladies are a pleasure to be around. They did a great job and my teeth look very natural. I ask Dr. Patel and Katie to make me some vampire teeth uppers for Halloween and they actually did it! Talk about full service!!! They always put me in a great mood! Highly recommended!!!

They are so professional. Lady at front desk is courteous and helpful, I look forward to seeing her. They all make you feel relaxed and comfortable not to mention their professionalism. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!

WORST place Ever!!!!! The office manager is very rude and disrespectful! The dentist came in to talk with me about my current plan and I expressed to him I wanted to take a different route... HE told me to sell my wedding rings if I needed money!!!!! I absolutely HATE this place!!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!!!! The entire office was RUDE!!!!

Very nice people. Pricing was fair, better than I expected. But after having my teeth removed and bone graphs put in, I was in extreme pain still after 5 days and they tell me they can't do anything for the pain, not even an injection of novacaine in my jawline where they broke it. I have to deal with it until it clears up. I am changing my 4 stars to 1 star because the ladies are nice but I wouldn't have them work with anyone else I care for

This dentist office is a total rip off. The current staff is rude and disrespectful to customers. Over a year ago my husband received implants and we paid up front and were told the set that was placed in his mouth would be replaced with a permanent set once his gums healed. He was back and forth for a year trying to get his permanent teeth. He went in the beginning of this year and ask when would he receive the finals and was scheduled to get them but he passed away before the appointment. This office had the nerve to say he received his final teeth before after he kept returning to get the teeth reinstalled because they would fall out and they fit horribly in his mouth. It gave him a huge overbite which he never had before and the teeth were constantly falling out. I contacted the office and the first off Manager agreed that we should be refunded and said she would contact corporate and to call back. When I called back the rude employee who answered the phone refused to give me the number to corporate and kept saying the finals had been placed in my husband's mouth. My question to her was if those were final why were they such bad quality and fit and why did they keep telling us he would receive a final denture. I called another nicer location and got the company customer service number however the rude rep that called me back had the nerve to ask did I remove the teeth from his mouth before he was buried and since I didn't there was no way a refund would be possible. This process was expensive and painful for my husband. I would not recommend this location to anyone or the company as a whole if that is the service they offer.

Went and got my dentures . They had to cut or shave mandible in my lower jaw. Was in extreme pain couldn't sleep for more than an hour. Explained pain medicine wasn't working was told to double up. That helped but then since they only gave me 12 Iran out and Dr.Patel didn't care. Bottom dentures still don't fit right. They cause severe pain when wearing them and also they look like children's teeth but they don't care.

From the very start everyone was friendly and helpful explaining the process of getting my dentures answering all my questions and concerns I'm happy with how they turned out have and would recommend Affordable Dentures & Implants to anyone looking at getting there own

Avoid this place. They are rude. The office manager is rude. They do not care about patients. They absolutely will try to rip you off. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE. Hopefully they will go out of business soon, it's so awful they had to change from DDS Dentures to Affordable, and it's STILL being run terribly. I will never go back and I hope anyone reading this avoids this place for their own good.

Absolutely amazing! No one likes going to the dentist, but these amazing professionals focus on their customers. I told them what I needed and wanted and they took everything I said and helped me have a plan. Thank you so much for helping me get my smile back .

Had all my teeth removed today, the sedation meds, barely helped. The normal numbing shots were easier with the gel applied first. But they didn't give me the gel, that the after care paperwork called for. The pain meds don't work . I go back in the morning for my post-op. 9 days out: Long story short. The Customer Service person came in to ask about this review, instead of getting to see the Doctor who was supposed to do my post-op. We resolved my previous concerns. But the Dr. never checked my mouth and neither did anyone else. Still having issues with swelling and pain on the problem tooth area.. Not had a good sleep since leaving that previous appointment Going to call today to see if there is anything I can do to help. Was trying to wait until my next appointment. If only the Dr. had took a look at my mouth that post op appointment. My advice to all: No matter how bad it hurts, don't hollar out. Both Dr. and her assistant, attitude changed abruptly towards me. Very unprofessional. On the upside I had alot of compliments on n my new smile at Church Sunday. So I added another Star. Had my second set of soft liners today. The lady was great.input. All my softliner appointments, have gone well, all techs, have been very nice. Next week I get my hard liner, Praying it goes well.

I was so nervous to take the plunge, but the staff here was kind, thoughtful and helpful every step of the way!! From initial exam to treatment to aftercare, I couldn't be more pleased! I've regained a confidence I had lost a long time ago because of dental neglect. The clerical staff is always happy and cheerful and very proficient with scheduling and insurance, billing, etc. One of the best decisions I've made in regards to health care! 10/10 would recommend!!

I haven't had the work done yet but they worked with me on the time so I could go with out missing work they were not opposed to working with me on the pain factor. I will be having 14 teeth pulled and was worried about being in pain afterwards I told them what I has to spend and what I hoped to get for the money and I got what I wanted and will be rendering what I had in my budget to get it done.a monthvfrom.now I'll be buying bigger pots caue I'll be able to eat again

Been patient with this company spending 8K plus to get 3 implants. It's been a full year and literally I'm still sitting with my mouth not completed. They give no gas for major procedures. They stick you more than 1,000 times and refuse to give you any kind of pain meds. My tooth was chipped as soon as I got home with no remorse. The office manager Katie is great, not the doctors
