In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

This is very embarrassing for me, but I have to do this, because it is part of my therapy! First, I would like to thank each of you for your prayers. So, I'm not going to get into a lot about what happened. As a child, 5years old, the first start of my abuse happened. I was held down by two men and had every single tooth pulled out of my mouth with pliers. Everything got worse from that moment on. I've had nightmares from it throughout my life and have had a fear of going to the dentist. The past year and a half I have been in therapy because my pain and trauma went far beyond that, as that was nothing compared to what would end up happening to me. But God!!! Oh my awesome God said my suffering was no more! I got my teeth fixed today and two weeks ago I had 4 teeth cut and pulled out. My mouth feels amazing. I feel amazing! I finally can smile without my mouth being closed. I have forgiven the ones that did this to me. I want others that have been through abuse to know you're not alone! And you can definitely overcome those fears and heal.

My hygienist was shauna today and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and received every option available to me for my dental health! All the staff here are great ! Extremely capable and helpful , no hard sales pitch for extra procedures to run up your bill !!!!!ty

Love this office!! Very nice staff always there to make you comfortable or take care of any needs you may have. The dentist gives me a lot of anxiety in general, so knowing I find a lot of comfort here helps a lot!

Great workers. If u r getting dentures just expect to be there all day. My top denture is way to big for my mouth. I can't even close my mouth or talk. Other than that they r very good on their prices.

All they wanted was to sell a bill of goods, were not interested it didn't seem they wanted to give me services. I called back in mid March still waiting on clearance from my cardiologist. I was told we will call you back. That was in March. Took my business to aspen dental first procedure scheduled.
