In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Staff and doctors are helpful and friendly. I go there regularly for cleanings and I think Barb is the best hygienist I've been to. She's thorough yet gentle with cleanings, is kind and considerate, and gives helpful tips. Highly recommend!

I called this office 30 times regarding an appointment never got a return call! I was told the office for short on staff but that doesn't excuse or forgive someone not returning a phone call.

Barb is the best!! I've been coming here for years and Barb has always greeted me with a smile! She's a great hygienist and very thorough. She advocates for her patients and makes you feel comfortable during the cleanings. Highly recommend coming here and especially seeing Barb.

The staff is courteous and the atmosphere was a very friendly one! Each staff member knew his/her job well. Procedures were explained very clearly and the dentist and medical staff were very informative of what my son needed to have done. I highly recommend this facility.

Worst experience from any dental professional ever. Burned underside of my tongue while grinding my tooth away. Left many pointy bits of tooth and root in my mouth that I had to remove over the following two weeks. Sewed cheek with gums and pulled over where tooth was. Left sharp pointed root poking through pulled over gums (made a hole in it) said it was no problem, and did nothing about it. Tried to charge me twice for procedure then on that same visit left me sitting in waiting room for 45 minutes while everyone was called back before me including those that arrived half hour after me. Fitted a tooth on the post that literally has 1/4" gap between bottom of tooth and my gum line. Anything I eat immediately goes in there and it looks horrible. Ate ice cream the other night and can not let any go on that whole side of my mouth due to instant incredible pain from cold due to the post being fully exposed and visible. Then sitting in chair for fittin read flyer on wall about implant pricing. Shows that a single implant is about $1100, so why did I pay $1154 out of pocket WITH insurance. Think I may have to do something about this. I feel wronged and need to see what recourse I have

Went in for an adjustment on my dentures and now they fit much better. Gums will continue to shrink and I'll go back again. Great service and friendly staff.
