In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

The first time I went to Affordable dentures they were absolutely wonderful. I went back there yesterday because they were very loose. I had been in the hospital several times in the last few weeks and I told him that.I was told I would have to come in and buy a whole new set because my warranty was out by four days. I really think four days they could have worked with me instead of me having to buy a whole new set having new impressions and everything. They would not even a try to adjust them for me so they would stay in my mouth. I was very disappointed because I really thought they were different. So I guess they are all the same

The doctor is beyond nice, gentle, non-judgemental, and understanding. The price is 1/3rd of other places if you need a full mouth of work.

Dr. Medlock has a beautiful manner with patients, and her oral surgery was quick and painless. Extraction, graft, and implant for single tooth in two hours.

The staff were very friendly. Megan was very detailed and specific. I was given information from start to finish that enabled my decision while also being aware of what work restrictions I could put in place. I went in expecting some information but the staff did X-rays and I left with knowledge. Far beyond what I was expecting and looking forward to the smile I'll have once the work is completed.

They honor their pledge to make sure that you are happy with the final denture. Initially, I was not satisfied with my new denture. Megan and Key worked diligently to accommodate my concerns while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor through the entire process. They actually made another denture to replace the one that I was unhappy with and there was no additional cost to me! I'm very pleased with the look and fit of my new appliance

At first I was very skeptical i had to get dentures and I got the best ones and some extractions along with bone graph it is 5 days later and they were right I'm very happy still a little sore but very happy. My advice is go in relax an let them go to work they know what they are doing the girls that helped me were very friendly and professional.

The people here are amazing! Professional perfectionists. Best dental experience I've ever had. I highly recommend them. Definitely worth the hour and a half I drive to get here.

I needed several implants that my dental plan was not covering. I compared Affordable with my local dental providers, and quotes were substantial lower...and I am very pleased to say that there is no sacrifice in quality or professionalism.
