In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Was told to come in and would take 30 minutes to realign top denture, asked for sure and was told yes. I explained things to Dr as hygienist said we didn't have time for work that I drove 2 hours away for the appointment and was ridiculous that I should be asked to come another day. Could tell hygienist was new as her customer service was not like I was used to with DDS but nevertheless made arrangements for me to get taken care of. Such a relied, this shows why I will continue to drive the distance for the quality product and services.

The staff members of both the dentistry office and the implant office were kind, patient and concerned with providing me the information I needed to make a difficult decision about my dental health. There were two options and I chose the least invasive. They all gave me confidence in this procudure going well and the outcome a good solution. They calmed my apprehension...a vital part of working with patients who have fears. Thank you all very much

I was cordially greeted by staff at front desk, and waited just a short time before I was asked back to see the dentist. My dentist was very friendly and did his best to comfort me during the procedure. I have extremely long roots which made the tooth removal a challenge. He made sure I was very numb before he began extracting my tooth.. He did an excellent job removing the tooth even though he had to cut it out . We even joked about my long rooted teeth during the procedure which made me feel more at ease during the difficult procedure. I recommend anyone to use this clinic for dental procedures. They are very upfront about costs and how the problems could be solved about my dental care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC, ESPECIALLY MY ADORABLE DENTIST !!

They helped me get my teeth pulled out with help by being put to sleep but had to send me to a different place to do it then come back for replacement teeth. So thankful for their time and information

.Understaffed, billing and insurance problems, inexperienced staff, then there's the general attitude of the people there that they know better than you on everything. Ok, update. The dental side isn't so bad. At least I see the same faces in there going on 6mo.since my last visit and they seem a bit more knowledgeable and professional than the group on the denture side. I gotta go back to the denture side next week for realignment. I'll let ya know. But ya get another star for the quality of today's visit.

Absolutely mind blown on the customer service, front desk is amazing. Also my hygienist Sally was an absolute pleasure, I think a cleaning took us almost two hours as much as we talked. Enjoy the staff professionalism and worth the 45 minute drive to go to this office. Really pleased and happy to be able to call this place my dental clinic
