In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Receptionist was nice., My wait time was reasonable. My tech who came to get me and escort me to my room was charming and polite. She was very informative and answered all my concerns and questions as well as explained what ever I asked her without hesitation. They took good care of me. They took all the guesswork out of my visit. Thank you for your professionalism and accuracy.

A lot of the people working there were nice, but one of the dentists was a nincompoop, and wanted to send me to another place just to get my teeth checked out. I also stated that I wanted a bridge, but he insisted that I get an implant that I can't afford.

I hope when I make implants in here better,right now I'm unhappy because I'm come here 3 weeks ago,they send me some where add more bones,They want here send X-ray but I come 2 times let officers but her doesn't send

Greenville, NC The dentist worked VERY hard to prep my mouth for my new dental appliance. She was terrific. But the starter set they sent me home with was not shaped like my mouth at all. 3 months later, the lower part is still so big it left a dark purple dime-sized bruise in the bottom of my mouth the first time I tried to eat in public (after 3 months). I asked the tech several times if they could fix it, make it more comfortable, make it fit better. She just said eat soft food and in so many words just learn to live with it. I can't eat in these teeth. They told me at my consult they would teach me how to eat with them but the tech did not, even when asked. The bottoms DO NOT FIT and rock/pop off when I try to eat. They cut and bruised me to the point I used my own Dremel to grind them to a more tolerable fit. They are for looks only, not function. I gave them 2 stars because at least I have something to wear in public until my final set comes in and because the dentist worked so hard pulling my broken teeth out. I opted for the package that included the best final set they offered. I truly hope my final set feels, fits, and functions better than this starter set. Especially considering the sizable investment I made in this package.

First visit for adjustment. I couldn't wear my dentures because of the pain. I could wear my dentures pain free after my appointment. Great service Great people. Big Thank You to the nice lady who fixed my dentures to fit better. No more pain.

My visit to Affordable Dentures- Greenville was because of a bad experience I had at another Affordable Denture location. My experience at Greenville was beyond expectation. The young lady who assisted me was superb. My dentures are a perfect fit and will not require a follow-up visit for adjustments. Thanks for restoring my faith in Affordable Dentures

No sedation dentistry available for people like me who cannot use novacaine or lidocaine. They advertise all the great services, but they are not capable of doing all of them. So they suggest farming you off to an oral surgeon who does sedation dentistry and you pay their prices. They will make your dentures for you , but cannot say whether the implants will match their top of the line dentures you have to buy. I was so hopeful about finally resolving my issues with my teeth at "affordable prices" .However, until they can work out sedation dentistry and modernize their implant procedures , I will just keep looking for truly "affordable dentures" and not smile. They are doing a temporary partial for me and that was arranged on the spot. It is only temporary... but it was affordable : 1/4th the price of my regular dentist's prices. We will see how that goes next week. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to a point, but since I was not part of the regular " script" I am not smiling.

Professional and cordial staff- very welcoming -short wait time and very productive once being treated. My 91 year old Mother was treated warmly and respectfully and gently. We were there for denture replacements after losing hers. One day service is remarkable! Thank you Jackie, Fallon and Dr?

I am 1000% pleased with the entire staff at the Greenville, NC location. They treat me as if I had been going there for years which makes me relaxed. I had several teeth pulled (pain free)which makes all the anxiety of going to the dentist disappear. The dental assistants are very professional yet warm and welcoming. The temporary partial plate looks as good as my moms permanent one which cost $5500 . I'm looking forward to getting the permanent one ordered today. I expect it will be much better than I expect. I am truly grateful to all the staff for assisting me with my broken & lost teeth.

These ladies are awesome! I scheduled an appointment on line for a broken denture. Jackie called and worked me in the next morning. Everyone there was positive and up beat. I felt like I was their number 1 priority. I would recommend Affordable dentures of Greenville to anyone needing denture work or replacement. Again these ladies are absolutely AWESOME!!!!!
