In the coastal plain region of eastern North Carolina, two dentists: Dr. George Edwards, Jr., and Dr. Donald Henson, saw a growing need to provide dentures and tooth extractions at a price their patients could afford.
Turning away patients because dental care was too costly didnt sit well with the two doctors. So, in 1975 they opened the first Affordable Dentures practice inside of a two-story home in Kinston, North Carolina.
Today, the same commitment to affordable and high-quality tooth replacement solutions found in that two-story home is now delivered across the United States inside nearly 400 clinics, now known as Affordable Dentures & Implants, which represents the expanded service offerings and advanced high-quality care offered to our patients.
Through their care for patients, Dr. Edwards and Dr. Henson also discovered how important it was to provide immediate dentures with same-day service, especially for patients who often traveled great distances.
To this day, almost every affiliated Affordable Dentures & Implants practice has an on-site laboratory that is committed to providing same-day dentures and convenient dental care to patients as needed.

As we create AFFORDABLE DENTURE MOMENTS for our patients, we see firsthand that a smile can help transform a life. Our team is dedicated to giving back in the communities where we live and work through our time, talent and dental care services.
Affordable Dentures & Implants clinical and laboratory employees generously donate their time and talent at free dental clinics hosted by Mission of Mercy chapters across the United States. The mobile clinics provide free dental services including cleanings, fillings, oral surgery, x-rays and dentures to patients in need. The Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers provide on-site dental care and dental laboratories to fabricate dentures. Oftentimes, if it were not for the Affordable Dentures & Implants volunteers, patients who visit the free clinics would not have access to free dentures or have their current dentures repaired free of charge.
Doctors and clinical team members from Affordable Dentures & Implants attend training programs to advance their skills in surgical and restorative elements of implant dentistry. The patients treated in the programs are patients in need, who are unable to afford dental care, including homeless individuals, military veterans and victims of domestic abuse.

Arrived at 9:am to fill out paperwork for 9:30 appointment. I was taken back for X-rays @ 9:20 and in exam room by 9:30. Completed exam and was in surgery by 9:40 for double extraction and left the building by 11:15. Very professional personal and would recommend to everyone. They get an A+ rating from me.

This was my first visit. Everyone was very friendly and nice. Looking forward to my next appointment. No high sales pressure. Continue... what an amazing experience, everyone is absolutely great lov my new dentures, they took the time to make sure that they fit correctly and that I was happy with them. I even got to meet the lab tech that was going to make them.

Today was fine employees friendly and helpful with my questions. But. Tomorrow they pull all my teeth I don't know how I'll feel after that....I'm worried and a little scared. It's a big step for me.

Before appointment: The most informative and forthcoming of denture sources I talked with on the phone. The website had clear information on available packages and prices. The online appointment system and confirmation protocol worked well. At appointment: Everyone was well prepared, friendly, and professional. I was led through each step such as establishing my purpose there, panoramic X-Ray (free as advertised), dentist consultation (free), denture package discussion and selection, and setting my appointment for the actual fitting and delivery. We didn't have to pay for the denture package today but chose to do so. There were no other charges. Recommendations were made, but I did not feel pushed in any direction I didn't want, which I appreciate. One caveat for the patient is to allow plenty of time. They were efficient, but it was a full house and we patients were running about an hour and 15 minutes after appointment time to be taken back to where it happens. A consequence of their popularity, I think. Overall, my first experience there was very good and reassuring.

The wait for the dentures is my only complaint. Was there at 8 and left at almost 5. Dentures look good and everyone was super nice.

Everything was great. Staff were super nice and very helpful. Had an extraction 2 years ago and they were just as awesome then. I had to wait for awhile past my appointment but they were very busy. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else though. 5 stars.
